We love this property on the Sugar River. Very spacious, rustic but with all the modern amenities. Beautiful view of the water and lots of wildlife in area.

This is a Beautiful Cabin and such a lovely experience. Our only concern we had was the steps leading to the camp fire, we had Our elderly Dad with us that fell going from the back porch to the steps. But all in all it was an amazing place where we were able to create alot of memories.

Loved it!

The owners are easy to work with. The property is incredible, and the setting in the river is perfect. Enjoyed coffee on the porch overlooking the river every morning and the kayaking was a lot of fun. Would love to come back sometime.

Amazing Cabin & Experience

The cabin is absolutely beautiful, clean, and very large! It was just 4 of us -- 2 adults and our teenage children, and it was wonderful. The location is fantastic -- we loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the view of the lake. It was also close to places we wanted to visit like New Glarus and Decatur Dairy. We used the kayaks and had the lake to ourselves! The campfire was a huge hit as was the pool table. We loved it so much, we are looking forward to booking it again!

Great house in a wonderful neighborhood. Everything was clean and ready for us, a family with 2 kids, one of them a toddler. The only downside is the internet that’s super slow, but you’re not in that house to be on internet all day long. Thank you!

The home itself was beautiful! The upstairs bathroom with the jacuzzi tub was great. We enjoyed watching pelicans on the river. The price and photos led me to expect a level of luxury that the property did not live up to. Despite the spa-like picture with the towel and washcloth rolled up by the sink, there were only two washcloths in the house- not enough for each of our group to use one. There was also only one dish towel. In my experience in other Vrbo’s there have been plenty of extra linens. It was less secluded than I expected. I did not expect there to be neighbors so close by. The level of cleanliness was not what I have experienced in previous Vrbo’s. I realized that the bed I was sleeping in did not have clean sheets, and there were some concerns about the cleanliness in one of the kitchen drawers and some other areas of the house. While the house was beautiful, I would not return to this property.

All linens are freshly laundered between every stay, but we hear you on the overall presentation and our team will be doing a thorough walkthrough to address anything that may appear worn or stained. We wish we had known about the washcloth and dish towel shortage during your stay so we could have brought more right over. We are also stocking additional towels so future groups have plenty on hand.

Booked for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The cabin is large! Enough space for big families. We didn’t end up taking out the canoes but we did enjoy the fire pit and afternoon lounging overlooking the water. So peaceful and truly relaxing. There’s a grocery store less than 10 minutes away. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils and some spices. Love this because they usually aren’t and we always stay in and cook at these types of cabin rentals. It was a pleasant surprise! The rooms were nice sized and beds were comfortable. We loved the sauna and enjoyed it the whole weekend. Communications with the host were top notch! Brittney was always quick to respond and provide solutions or information when needed. 11/10 star rating.
