0018 not a good stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Family Vacation review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to sandpiper cove for 20 years. It’s the best place to stay in Destin! We originally booked our stay for 7 nights but had to add one more night because we were having so much fun. This is the first time my family stayed in the #0018 house. We loved the size and location of the house but it did need some updates. It would have been nice to have a baby gate in the house to keep our kids safe from falling down the stairs. Also, the clothes washer smelled of mildew. A painting in our bathroom had a rip in it and there were stains in the carpet and on the couch. These things aren’t a huge deal breaker for my family but I thought it would be nice for the owners to know! We would rent here again! We loved how close the big pool was to our house and how we could see the harbor and the pond from our decks. Beautiful views!!!

Spacious but that’s it...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was very sub-par cleaned and not stocked with anything as far as paper towels, toilet paper, or anything if that sort. The plumbing was terrible and sinks kept clogging. The first two hours trying to figure out what to do with my boat and trailer was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. Luckily a condo owner across the street was willing to help where Sandpiper wasn’t. I don’t know that I’ll be back here. But the size and location was pretty decent unfortunately that’s about it.

Great location

I got Unit 18 which is the corner lot, next to a restaurant & tennis courts. The house is just the right size for my family. The AC temperature was good. It’s only 5’ walk to the beach. Food store is also close by. We really enjoyed our stay in Destin. I am just waiting for my deposit. Otherwise, it was a great home to stay. We definitely will come back and book with this agency.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is nice and I like the security at entrance. We did not get correct instructions at late check in and front desk called for a visit to the office prior to 10 am at 9:45 am and we were off site. Office seemed a bit grumpy. Bathrooms are very small.Everything is a bit worn and in need of a refresh...lamps broken, small Tv's, worn carpet and broken dishes. Unit did have new windows and sliding door.We had a plumbing issue that eliminated one shower - maintenance wanted to do the repair durning our stay. This involved cutting drywall out of ceiling at the step to upstairs bedroom. We elected to leave early. The office could not send the check out email with the new departure date. I actually received it after being home for a day. No financial compensation was offered.
