About the host
Hosted by Tim Steflik
My wife and I and our 5 children live nearby in Florida and love to visit St Augustine often even for our kids field trips. We love being hosts and making your experience as enjoyable as possible so you can make forever memories.
Why they chose this property
One of the most highly rated and frequently booked homes in St Augustine, this home is known for it's preserved history and carefully curated historical furniture and decor. Originally built in 1918 for the banker of St Augustine, much of the original home has been preserved including the original pine floors and the chimneys in the house. Over the years and as recently as 2025, updates have been made to modernize the home while preserving the historical character of the property.
Each item in the home has been carefully selected for it's historical significance. Some of the furniture is older than the house! The full bed was manufactured in 1896! Many other items you will see throughout the home are from days gone by in America's historical city. You will be hard pressed to find another home in St Augustine that has received as much attention to detail in the furnishing and decorating while also ensuring your comfort and security.
We have two large living spaces that are connected so you can enjoy space together with your group up to 10 guests comfortably.
We have 3 bikes available for your use to cruise around St. Augustine and avoid wearing out your feet while enjoying the breeze of biking.
