A quiet, relaxing escape.

The property was as described in the listing, the host was in communication with me throughout my stay, which was great, as this was my first booking through VRBO. Very clean, and had everything I needed for my 4 day stay. This cottage was exactly what I needed: a quiet place to relax and leave my hectic life behind for awhile. Having the hot tub was a nice bonus, there was a sauna, which I did not use, as it got too hot for it. I would point out the home is not fully accessible, the living room is sunken in, and the lake and dock are down several flights of stairs, other than that, everything was great.

The cottage was very clean, organized and had lots of kitchen needs. The sauna and hot tub were well maintained and great for relaxing. We went kayaking on Lake Jeffrey everyday...it was peaceful. Please note there are 70 steps to the water down some uneven steps....not ideal for people with mobility issues or small kids. Otherwise a great place to unwind. We hope to return.
