About this property

True Ski-In/Out steps to Chair 3 | Hot Tub, Montana Murals & Mountain Magic

Steps from Chair 3 at Whitefish Mountain Resort, Hope Slope Chalet was designed around big mountain days and easy evenings. Ski out in winter. Ride, hike, and explore in summer. Then come back to a private hot tub overlooking Hope Slope, custom Montana murals that bring the outdoors inside, and a mountain basecamp designed for relaxing after the adventure. Because the mountain may be the main event — but where you land matters too.

💫 The Highlights — Why Guests Love It

Adventure outside. Warmth, comfort, and a little magic inside.

Whether you're chasing fresh powder, planning summer mountain adventures, visiting Glacier, or introducing your kids to the mountains for the first time, Hope Slope was designed to make mountain trips feel easy.

🏠 Inside

Big mountain days tend to have a rhythm of their own.

First chair in the morning. Tired legs by afternoon. Hot showers. Hot tub after dark.

Then dinner somehow turns into cards around the table. Someone quietly disappears toward the hot tub. Kids start pointing out the stars over their bunks. The chairlift slows down outside and suddenly nobody seems particularly interested in tomorrow yet.

Hope Slope was intentionally designed so every inch earns its place. The footprint itself is cozy, but thoughtful details throughout — murals, lighting, mountain views, and spaces designed to actually be used — help it live bigger than you'd expect.

The kitchen tends to become one of those gathering spots too: big breakfasts before first chair, soup and sandwiches between runs, hot chocolate after skiing, and dinners that somehow last a little longer.

🛏 Where You'll Sleep

King Bedroom

✓ Plush king bed
✓ Mountain views

Family Suite

✓ King bed
✓ Queen-over-Queen bunk bed

A quick note on layout: The Family Suite works beautifully for families and flexible sleeping arrangements. The only thing worth noting is that the bunk area serves as the walk-through to access the rear king bed.

✓ Two full bathrooms total
✓ Fresh linens, pillows, and extra blankets throughout

🌲 Outside

The mountain tends to keep going here even after you come back inside.

Maybe it's the hot tub overlooking the slope. Maybe it's watching Chair 3 slowly wind down for the evening while dinner finishes on the grill. Maybe it's the feeling that somehow everybody naturally ends up together again at the end of the day.

Winter and summer look different here.

That part somehow doesn't.

✓ Easy unloading for luggage and gear

👋 Meet Beata

Hi — I'm Beata.

I wanted Hope Slope to feel like more than just a place to sleep after a day on the mountain.

I wanted it to feel like the kind of place where kids get excited about stars over their beds, where tired ski legs recover in the hot tub, and where everyone quietly agrees they should stay one more day.

I personally manage every reservation because hospitality matters deeply to me. Small things are automated for speed so nothing waits. Anything important comes directly from me.

Take what you need from the Pay-It-Forward kitchen. Leave what you can.

Happy to have you.
— Beata

Above and Beyond

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hope Slope Chalet. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The chalet is very clean and well stocked. We loved having a garage to park in, locker room for our skis/boots, and wonderful walk in showers. The kitchen was so nice that we stayed in and cooked every night we were there. The proximity to the ski lift couldn’t have been better. I cannot wait to stay here again!!!

Masterful execution from a host

This property has all the arrangements that are left out of typical short-term stays. Plenty of towels utensils, pots, pans, everything was clean, tidy and very organized. The pay-it-forward items saved us on many occasions. Thank you Beata !

Cozy & Welcoming Stay at Hope Slope Chalet

We had a very cozy stay at Hope Slope Chalet over the holidays. The location cannot be beat. It was so convenient to ski in and out of the home everyday. It is well appointed with everything our family needed for a comfortable ski vacation. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to make and enjoy meals, as well as a full selection of cooking essentials such as spices and oil. We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit, which meant we were able to pack less. The condo was clean and well taken care of when we arrived, and the host, Beata, was attentive and warm any time we had a question. We are so grateful for the memories our family created at Hope Slope and will definitely be back!

Perfect Ski-In Stay in Whitefish

We stayed at this condo in Whitefish, Montana and it was absolutely the best place we could have chosen. Being right by the ski lift made everything incredibly convenient, and having so much within walking distance was a huge plus. The ski storage was absolutely perfect, making our days on the mountain seamless. The condo itself was spotless, clean, immaculate, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The heated garage was a huge bonus, especially during winter, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day of skiing. The pantry was such an awesome touch, and we loved the idea of sharing by leaving items for future guests. Overall, the space was welcoming, comfortable, and extremely well cared for. Highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again!

Quiet Condo with Amazing ski in/Ski out access!

Hope Slope Chalet was a great location for our 2025 Christmas Ski Vacation! The Chalet was beautifully decorated for the season and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some amazing Christmas meals. The Chalet is clean and well suited for a small family. It is thoughtfully stocked with games that everyone enjoyed. The Ski-in /Ski-out access was the best I have experienced so far at Whitefish Mountain. From the Chalet to the Equipment locker and then directly to the slopes. The whole process included only one step up or down and made coming and going easy! Beata and her team have really emphasized the details in this unit so that visitors can enjoy all that the mountain has to offer. A truly magical place to spend Christmas!

Absolutely awesome!!

Loved this place! Private Hot tub outside on deck. Comfortable beds, open concept for living room, kitchen, and dining area. Great table to not only eat at but to play board and card games. Saw deer right outside. Bathrooms were large. Washer and dryer was so convenient and not noisy. Easy to park in garage. Would definitely love to come back.

Great location, well appointed, spotless

We enjoyed our weeklong stay over the summer months at this lovely chalet. This home had what was likely the most well stocked kitchen we have even encountered, which was appreciated as we prefer to fix some of our meals at home rather than driving down into town. The location on the mountain is peaceful and gorgeous, and the home was spotless. The lodge is just a few steps away, and the small market there was helpful to grab a few quick essentials in between trips to town. Communication leading up to and during our stay was stellar. Highly recommend.

Idyllic mountain ski condo

The condo was fantastic! Just steps from the slopes. Perfect view to watch the kids night ski if the adults prefer to stay in. Heated garage and ski lockers available. When entering the unit, everything was pristine. Very clean and updated. Gorgeous mountain mural on the walls that makes the small space seem larger. Kitchen was so well stocked. Everything you need whether you are just doing snacks, apres, or cooking a full meal. The dishes were so pretty and iconic! The beds are amazing--so comfortable, especially after a day on the mountain. The bedrooms are small, but there is closet space for suitcases and shelves to unpack as well as tons of wall hooks that make it so easy for hanging things (not to mention being less likely to leave something behind!) I will definitely stay here again!

Better than we could have ever imagined!!

We had the most amazing trip and stay at Hope Slope Chalet! The views on the drive up the mountain are gorgeous and watching the sunrise and deer from the balcony was one of our favorite things. I've never been to a place that was decorated so perfect, from beautifully detailed murals to furniture to specialty items such as the ski lift chair. We had everything we needed to cook meals, relax, and felt right at home the whole time. Not to mention I had probably the best nights' sleep in a long time! Beata was an amazing host providing many details and answering any of our questions. The digital guidebook was a bonus with so much information. I must say October was the perfect time to visit with the weather to be able to explore. We will definitely be making a trip back in the future!

Amazing place!

My partner and I stayed here for our wedding weekend and this was the perfect place!! The layout is a bit strange - the main bedroom is through a bunk bed room - but otherwise every small detail was clearly thought of. I would say that if you need extra space for accessibility reasons, this may not be the place for you since the bedrooms are quite small. Otherwise, the beds are very comfortable and there is enough space on the shelves in the closet to unpack! The kitchen is fully stocked with EVERYTHING you could need, even a slow cooker! We arrived to find that the fridge had a few items already, too, like coffee creamer. It was so great to arrive and not need to think of every little thing to grab because the chalet already had it. The bathrooms had plenty of towels for use, and lots of space to spread out. The patio was amazing. The views were great and the chalet is in a quiet area of the mountain. We enjoyed using the hot tub - it's very clear it's well managed and taken care of. I wish we had a chance to use the grill! Overall, I would recommend this place! It was lovely for our wedding weekend and is in a great location. The chalet itself is quiet and for the most part you don't hear the neighbors. The only problem we encountered was that the wifi was down when we arrived (which is managed by the building, so not anyone's fault), but Beata was super communicative and responsive to let us know when it would be back on. Having this space truly made our wedding weekend special and we look forward to staying again in the future!

About the host

Host profile image

Hi — I'm Beata.

I'm a professional host, Penn State alum, mom to two boys, and someone who genuinely believes places shape experiences.

My family is originally from Poland — yes, I speak Polish — and over the years we've lived in different states and even a few different countries. One thing I've learned is that people rarely remember a trip because of square footage or checklists.

They remember how it felt.

The mountain day everyone still talks about. The conversation that stretched longer than expected. The little details that somehow made the whole trip feel easier.

That's probably why I care so much about hospitality now.

Why they chose this property

Hope Slope started with something I couldn't stop thinking about:

If people are coming all the way to Whitefish for the mountain, why should the condo itself feel forgettable?

The location was already incredible — true ski-in/ski-out access just steps from Chair 3. But I wanted the inside to feel like it belonged to the mountain too.

So I leaned into it.

Hand-painted Montana murals by a local artist. A fiber optic night sky over the bunks. Thoughtful details that make a relatively small footprint feel warm, welcoming, and memorable.

The mountain may be the destination.

But where you land matters too.

What makes this property unique

One of my favorite things about Hope Slope is that it quietly solves a lot of little things guests care about.

You can truly ski out in the morning and come back for lunch if you want. The hot tub overlooks Hope Slope itself. There is heated underground parking in winter. Resort restaurants and the Bierstube are within walking distance.

And while the condo intentionally makes the most of every square foot, it was designed to live larger than you'd expect.

The mountain somehow keeps following you back inside.
