Studio room in a hotel setting. Great location, with pool and great amenities. Beaver Creek is close by and Vail is a short drive away. Beautiful setting and clean, quiet room.

Wonderful, but make sure you know the hotel fee

It was clean, nice, the amenities were great, access to the gondola and ski valet made it so easy! It way cheaper than getting a hotel room for a night through the Westin ! I was a little bummed when I got there to hear that there was a 60 a day resort fee as well as a 75 one time arrival fee. But when I went and looked back at the VRBO listing, it was in there.

July 4th Stay

Love the Westin in Avon. The resort fee and parking fee add $60 per day. That is the only down side to this beautiful resort.

Honeymoon

We had an amazing time at this resort. The room is a bit larger than we expected from the pictures which was a great surprise. Comfortable king sized bed. Ski valet with gondola access at the resort is great plus you can ski all the way back at the end of the day without having to take a shuttle. There are tons of great restaurants in Edwards - be sure to check out what else is around. The hotel food is fine but also pretty expensive.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, modern and located in a great area within walking distance to restaurants, shops and local attractions. The resort itself has a fantastic pool, hot tub, and fitness center. The lobby has a cool bar/restaurant with a large outdoor patio overlooking the pool area. The property is located on a beautiful river with gorgeous views and right next to a wonderful paved bike/walk/ hiking path. Charlie (the host) sent an email with all necessary information prior to arrival and check in was fast and easy. Definitely a 5 star host in a 5 star property! We are looking forward to returning!

Great stay. Condo is nice and spacious. Like the high ceiling features.

Condo is nice. Charlie responded on a few inconveniences quickly. The room is nicer than the regular room from the hotel, however since we are a Marriott BonVoy member, our stays are not counted as points and it is not as flexible as the hotel would offer in terms of check in and check out.

Unit is very nice and well maintained. Westin facilities are nice -- restaurant, pool, hot tubs, etc., plus frequent shuttles to Beaver Creek, and less frequently, Vail. Owner is very responsive and easy to deal with. Only negative was that the unit itself didn't have Westin housekeeping type amenities -- so for example, there were no bars of soap, in the shower there was a dispenser with CVS type soap and shampoo, etc. We ended up tracking down housekeeping and they were nice and gave some to us. And of course, no housekeeping service, which we knew. Overall, it was a good stay, and I'd stay again at the right pricing.

You Are On The Top Floor!

This is a beautiful studio suite on the exclusive top floor of the Westin. You get all the amenities of this first class resort hotel without paying premium prices by booking direct. Just a note to future renters: the layout of this unit is different than the one pictured in the listing. Charlie does point out that the photo is of a "typical" Westin studio. However, you will find the living space is a bit smaller with the kitchenette separate. The bed is luxurious. Your windows face away from Beaver Creek towards the mountains across from the ski resort. I give the property a five star rating - you will enjoy your stay here. Thanks, Charlie!

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because we love the luxury and amentities of the Brand Name Resort & Spa. Direct gondola access with a ski valet to take our stuff at the end of the day cant be beat! We enjoy driving up to the front door and having the bellman unload our stuff and take it to the room. We also like having the spa, health club,4 star restaurant, and Beaver Creek sports on site and being able to order room service.

What makes this property unique

We love being on the top floor with great views of the area. We wanted to have ski in/ski out access and be right on a bike path in the summer. The bike bath is amazing as it goes for over 50 miles all the way to Dillon Reservoir.
