About this property
Magical Riverside Homestead in the Hudson Valley
Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of nature, while staying conveniently close to vibrant towns and abundant activities. Our beautifully renovated farmhouse on the Wallkill river offers an idyllic retreat.
As a family owned design firm that specializes in bespoke properties, we are thrilled to have found such an incredible gem in this historic 1710 Huguenot homestead. We have lovingly restored the farmhouse to include every modern comfort and amenity, while keeping its rural charm.
The house comfortably sleeps up to 6 adults and 2 kids. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a deep wood paneled soaking tub/shower. The second bedroom has views of the river and meadows. Just outside the bedroom is a full bathroom, complete with a generous salon shower. Bedroom number 3, perfect for anyone under 6 feet tall, is on the upper floor. Spacious and cozy, this attic loft features warm wood paneling, a peaked roof, and partial river views. Also on the second floor is the children’s loft. Both upstairs spaces offer privacy but are open to each other and the stairs leading to the living room below.
The entire four acre property is exclusively yours to enjoy. Guests at the farmhouse are welcome to explore our meadows and take in the stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountains, pastures, and river. The 1710 stonehouse, the barn and other outbuildings, along with their decks, can be enjoyed from the outside. As we continue to restore more of this enchanting homestead, we will be adding additional accommodations and amenities. Stay connected with us on social media for updates.
Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway or an action-packed adventure, our riverfront haven provides the perfect setting for your country retreat in every season. Just 90 minutes from NYC (George Washington Bridge), we are centrally located between the towns of Rosendale (5 min) and New Paltz (10 min), both of which have Trailways bus stops. The popular towns of Kingston, High Falls, Stone Ridge and Accord are a short 15- 20 minute drive.
Take advantage of all the Hudson Valley has to offer, with numerous restaurants, breweries, quaint antique shops, galleries, orchards and farms. The Rail Trail, popular hiking and nature activities, Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park are just a few highlights of the many nearby activities.
Guests will have total privacy during their stay. We are available by phone/text for any questions or concerns. Most issues that arise can be handled quickly by our team.
We want to make sure that you have a fantastic, fun and safe stay with us in our natural surroundings. Please be mindful of poison ivy, ticks, wildlife, and most importantly the river, especially if you are visiting with children. While all are welcome to enjoy the river view, for your safety, boating, swimming, wading, or any activity that involves entering the river from the property is prohibited. All guests are required to sign a liability waiver when booking.

Great stay in a spacious property. Close to New Paltz and hiking spots. Nice touches with amenities including body wash/shampoo and eggs, bread, milk and coffee provided. Highly recommended
LOVED IT! This home feels like your are in the English countryside. Beautifully decorated, serene views, everything you need. Even more beautiful in person. My family (and even a teenager) loved it! Hosts were wonderful, easy check in and out. Highly recommend!
The place was clean and well maintained with beautiful outside property. We went to New Paltz because my son and girlfriend participated in the 50 mile run. Because of that we didn’t really get to use the outside property as much as we would have liked but it was beautiful. The host was really responsive as well. The only improvement I can recommend is add another big pot. I brought up homemade meatballs and sauce; I needed two large pots - one for sauce and one for pasta. We made do with what was there. All in all it was a very nice weekend.
