We purchased our home as a secondary home in 2013 and then lost it to Hurricane Hermine in 2016. We decided to tear our home down and rebuild this home as our personal home in 2019. In 2024, we decided to downsize a bit so we moved. We haven't quite made the decision to sell or not, so we decided to try VRBO and so far are enjoying letting others enjoy what we have loved for many years!
Why they chose this property
We were looking for waterfront property in 2013. We fell in love with Crystal Shores because of its quaintness and charm. The community is friendly and quiet. We enjoy evening walks or riding our bikes.
What makes this property unique
Our home is located on Crystal Bay and has direct access to Crystal River's main channel. From our home location, you can turn north and head straight to the gulf or turn southeast and head straight for the springs. We have enjoyied our neighborly manatees and dolpins in our own backyard.
