Beautiful location and nice casita. There were some dirty dishes and the yard seems to be overgrown and in need of upkeep.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m working with the cleaning company to make sure no dirty dishes will ever be left in the future and we just had the lawn maintained so it’s more manicured now.
Adorable and cozy spot in beautiful nature surroundings! It was a perfect location in between Taos Ski Valley and downtown Taos. Has everything you need for a relaxing stay. You may want to have a 4x4 vehicle in winter cuz it’s tucked back on some dirt roads.
We were very impressed with our stay! It was extremely cozy and the owners very helpful when we had questions. Would highly recommend it to anyone needing a nice quiet getaway. The horses next door were the best surprise.

SO happy you enjoyed the space and we hope to host you again. Yes the horses are such a lovely bonus!
Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. We really appreciated being able to hike straight from the front door. The sound of birds echoing through the bedroom window made for a truly peaceful getaway.

Enjoyed the stay. Nice and peaceful location. Draw back was dog hair on couch and floor. Sorry we are not dog people. Spacious and enjoyed it overall.

Hi, we have since hired new cleaners. Thank You for your feedback. If you ever have an issue we will respond and do our best to resolve it immediately. I apologize for the inconvienance!
Beautiful location and a sweet little Taos cabin. Lots of Taos touches like the dirt road, the tiled shower and rustic feel of the place. Great quality towels and lots of hot water for the shower. Our dog loved the closed in yard that is easy to get to right off the living room. The owner's home is nearby and their friendly dog came to visit every day. The kitchen is better suited for making coffee and heating up stuff then actually cooking. The quality of the cookware was not very good. Teflon flaking off. The bed was more comfortable than lots of beds we have encountered but the sofa was really uncomfortable and the only place to sit other than the bed. There are some wooden dining chairs, but they really are not comfortable either. It was perfect for a couple of busy days in the area.

Thank you for your feedback. I went and bought a full set of cooking pans and pots and cutting knives and drinking glasses. I’m so sorry you felt the couch and chairs were uncomfortable. If you decide to come back, we can provide more cushioning.
Very beautiful property nestled up next the the mountains with rabbits, chipmunks and birds. Wonderfully lanscped to bring out natural vegetation. A wonderful getaway for reading, thinking, and grounding oneself. Will definitly try to go back in the holidays. Its so cosy and inviting

We are so happy that you enjoyed the elements of nature as much as we do! You are welcome back home any time. It really is a lovely place to find grounding and connecting and Im grateful it got to be shared with you!
The casita and area are absolutely beautiful. The NM ambiance was spot-on. It is lovely and quiet. Met the most beautiful Australian Shepherd I have ever seen. He had a cone on and was not a happy camper. Loved him. The stay was wonderful. One slight complaint was a lack of paper supplies and tall glasses. Otherwise, very nice. Thank you Morgaine. Beautiful!

Hi Kathy! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and appreciate the feedback. We have added taller glasses and if you ever come back can accommodate special requests same day! Pecan the pup and I send our love!
The picture is an old one. The property is so overgrown with chest high brush and waist high grasses you can hardly walk around the property. There remains of stone lined paths and even a nice little bridge so it wasn’t always like this. And just to make things interesting there’s an old roll of barbed wire in the tall grass by the gate for your dog to get entangled in. You can judge a person by how they maintain their property. There’s no mention that I could find of the 60 fee for having a dog you’re socked with after you leave. We won’t be back but will pass the word around.

The pet fee is included during the reservation made if you add a pet to your reservation. We are sorry that this wasn’t clear to you in the Vrbo platform. In the Aspen Grove during the fall, we let grasses grow tall around October time and we don’t cut them for environmental reasons of insects bees butterflies reproductive purposes. But the grass around the house and the yardwork otherwise is very well maintained. We never found the Barbwire that you were talking about. We looked up and down for it because we too have dogs and would be very concerned about this.
For us, this casita was the perfect home base to explore the area. Very clean, uncluttered, and peaceful. I agree with another guest that the kitchen is better for simple food preparation. We really missed our dogs while we were away, so seeing the hosts dog occasionally was an absolute bonus. Beautiful scenery, surrounded by aspens and mountain views. Lots of birds including black billed Magpies. Couldn’t be happier about our stay.
Location for privacy and enjoying the environment is great! It is a bit of a drive from Arroyo Seco, so make sure you have some supplies w/you. The casita is at first impression, welcoming and inviting to “sit and stay awhile. Our suggestions to put this special place over the top are very minimal:Refresh the cookware, really tiredRefresh the glasses, of which there were so fewRefresh the outside areas w/ comfortable patio seating .Small things but aWonderful stay, TY
