It's a nice house in a great spot. There are lots of puzzles, if you are into that sort kof thing.The kitchen is pretty well-equipped, except for one thing - those nonscratch pots and pans are in a very sad state, and really need to be replaced (perhaps with stainless steel, so the guests who stay don't destroy them?).

Home is clean and comfortable. Location is excellent, just a quick walk down to Governor Patterson Memorial Beach, being in Waldport you are close enough to Newport, Depot Bay or Lincoln City for a day trip but far enough out it’s not as crowded or busy. Home is well equipped for a family trip, pots and pans, towels etc all clean and in good working order, beds are comfortable and there is a dvd/vhs player combo with a decent selection of tapes for winding down in the evening and watching a movie with the family. Only negatives I would have is the internet is on the slow side and one of closet doors in the small bedroom was jambed open, but neither of these detracts from experience. Overall I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet getaway with the family.

Such a cozy beach home. Last vacation before our kids leave home. They loved being able to walk down to the Oregon shore. Kitchen and family room were perfect. Stayed up late playing rummy and spoons. Beds were comfy. Close to downtown restaurants and outdoor activities. Split time between Waldport and Yachats. Perfect location.

This property was comfortable and clean. We chose it specifically because it had a king-size bed. If you are a family that likes to hang out, work puzzles, and play games, this might be the place for you.

it was as advertised. Their were four of us, we needed three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Amenities were great, especially the washer dryer. Location was good, as we spent our time on local trails, Cape Perpetua, Thor's Well, Devils Churn, and enjoyed local restaurants and shops

Excellent beds,lots of room for our teenaged daughters, very nice layout. Very ,very quiet neighborhood.We felt at home immediately.The little trail was just perfect for a peaceful early morning walk at the beach.!!!

Our third stay at this property

We have stayed here 3 years in a row. It feels like home. The house has all the amenities anyone needs for a wonderful vacation. We love it. We are booked for next year. Don't hesitate, if your family likes a beach vacation, you can do no better than this cozy home away from home.
