Detox weekend

2 families that needed to destress from all the news and WFH situation found this gem 2 blocks away from the most beautiful beach in the world. Our Casita was amazing. We will definitely come back (hopefully soon)

The management company is wonderful. The unit is exactly as described. Very clean, no odors, comfy beds, great pool and beach access. Reasonably well appointed - plenty of towels & beach towels (could use more silverware). Very appreciated: some toiletries, cleaning products, TP & snacks awaited our arrival.Downsides: situated on a busy & noisy street. AC controls not available in our unit (positioned in the other half of the duplex, perhaps?)We had a great time!

Had a great time at the residence. The Cottage has everything you need to complete your beach stay (wagon, beach chairs, sand toys, coolers, pool floats, etc..) so bring only the minimum. The facility was clean and operated as advertised. Greeted very friendly by the staff and encouraging to see a genuine “customer service” approach. Happy to stay there again. There is a public beach access within a 5-8 minute walk (we did it with four kids under 6). Beds are comfortable and linens were clean. All the best!

Great Vacation place

At the first entrance of house, it smells fantastic, everything was organized, and the AC was on, so the welcome was great. When you pay close attention, behind the Furnitures, at both entrances of the house there were a lot of debris. same thing happened inside the porch by the pool. Other than that, our vacation was awesome. i will recommended to friends. thanks

Great location

The location is perfect, plenty of restaurant and bar options, easy walk to the beach and quick drive to get off of the island. House is clean. The AC was broken when we arrived and I was in continuous communication with the property managers who were responsive and kind. The AC repairman had to come daily and each evening the AC was broken again. It was finally repaired on Wednesday of our week. The issue was identified on the first day but not corrected for 4 days. The beds are comfortable and there were plenty of linens and kitchen supplies to use. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation I just wish I hadn’t needed to spend part of the vacation with a broken AC.

First visit to Siesta Key

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The property management is absolutely first rate. They are responsive and very attentive to make sure our stay was amazing. We had a minor issue with the electronic door entry (dead battery) but the maintenance man arrived within 10 minutes! The house is adorable. I do want others to know the house is a duplex so the pool areas are side by side, separated by a fence and plants, which doesn’t give much privacy. Luckily the other house was not occupied during our visit. The house had everything we needed and the beds are super comfy. The house is on a main street so road noise can be bothersome. A couple of suggestions for the management group: A table and chairs is needed poolside The current patio furniture is in need of replacement - and it’s super uncomfortable Additional lighting outside would be nice

Our stay at Casita Morning Star at The Cottages on the Key

Our three bedroom apartment was just beautiful. Professionally furnished with attention to details. Gas grill with grill tools, beach chairs, beach towels, bikes, lovely pool. Incredible beds with the most lovely linens. Cupcakes upon arrival was a sweet touch and appreciated. The location is close to everything. On the downside, the house is located on a very busy road and there is lots of road noise and traffic when in the pool or screened porch. I was unaware that there are limited beach paths open to the public on Siesta Key. To me this is a real deterrent. The walk to the closest available beach from the cottage was longer than I anticipated, esp with two small children and an infant in a stroller. The beach path has deep sand and I was unable to navigate the beach cart or the stroller through the deep sand and had to ask strangers for assistance. Sorry, but the beautiful beaches on Anna Maria have spoiled me.

The property was just as pictured and a 5-10 min walk to point of rocks. Like others have stated the duplex pools are close together w/little privacy, but that’s to be expected.
