We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, and our host was responsive and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
Very nice place to stay! The host includes extras that aren’t required but make the stay that much more pleasant and charming. Will stay here again if it’s available.
The bungalow was very clean, comfy and cozy for our family stay. The neighborhood was comfortable and lent itself to short walks to local museums, etc. We also appreciated the extra touches that was afforded us duing our stay. I highly recommend the yellow bungalow for visits to Selma.
I was in town for a work trip and The Yellow Bungalow was perfect! Everything was as described and the linens were the softest I have ever used. I would definitely stay there next time I am in Selma.
The Yellow Bungalow is a wonderful place to stay! The home was clean and inviting and communication with the hoist was great. The house is located in a great location to walk and explore the downtown area and cemeteries. EVERYONE we encountered waved and spoke and felt so friendly.
We had a wonderful stay in this sweet little house. It had the most comfortable bed, the fluffiest towels and our hosts provided several toiletries, even a welcome candy treat. After 10 days of travel we were eager to do our laundry… so easy. We also enjoyed the porch swings in the evening. Highly recommend!

Everything was great. My only suggestion would be to add a blow dryer.

About the host

I am from Saint Lucia, but went to college in the States and have lived in Selma with my wife since 2016. We now have two kids and have loved making Selma our home. I am a tennis coach at our local high school and in the community. I love to go on walks in our neighborhood with my family, drink coffee, and watch Survivor. We've recently started hosting and are so excited that we get to have a part in sharing Selma with people from all over.
Why they chose this property
Old Town is the largest historic district in Alabama. It is charming, has architectural appeal, and is filled with old oak trees and beautiful magnolia trees. The neighborhood's architecture styles include Greek Revival, Victorian, and Art Deco. We love how walkable our neighborhood is and enjoy sitting on our front porch.
