About this property

Solitude abounds on 3 secluded acres in the heart of Cape May. Welcome to Morning Glory. Our spacious one story home has windows galore that look out at gorgeous sunsets over 14 acres of Higbee Wildlife Preserve with its private free beach at the end of our road. We sit a halfmile back which makes it a quiet place. Our neighbors are wineries, horse farms, Nature preserves and endless roads to bike… yet only 2 miles from downtown Cape May City with the best beaches, restaurants, shops, theatre, concerts and pubs. We welcome small intimate weddings.The large bedroom overlooking the front fields makes for a memorable Honeymoon. Come for the best of Birding in the Fall and Spring!

Mike and I are from Ocean City NJ where we restored a sweet cottage, raised a family and Hosted Airbnb guests. We moved to Cape May in 2019 to restore this old farm. We opened up our property on Airbnb in July 2024 and had a wonderful season. Now we’ve added on VRBO. We love hosting Guests. There is nothing like Cape Island. The mindset is to preserve history, woods, fields, open space and its surrounding beaches and waters AND ALL THE WILDLIFE WITHIN. Our location is lush with trees and open space but within a mile we are on the beach or downtown.
