They didn’t have record of our booking, despite it being confirmed by Vrbo. They had to prepare a room for us, requiring us to wait for hours. Then we were moved to a new room the next day. The owner of the property placed us in the “honeymoon room” which was in his house and quite nice. But, behind the building, he was breeding German shepherds. They barked off and on all night. On the plus side, the staff was fabulous, the property quaint (although in need of some repairs), and the food good. But we had to end our stay early because we were unable to sleep at night due to barking dogs. We asked the property manager to intervene, but they were unable to change the situation.
