Beautiful cottage in a well maintained resort. Pet and family friendly. Contacted the host during our stay and received an immediate reply and an easy solution to the problem. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the pool facility.

Mermaid cottage is in a wonderful spot in Parksville, close to the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed and the terrace and bbq were wonderful. It was perfect for me and my friends and their two year old daughter. I would highly recommend the property.

Nice place to spend a few days but the beds were a bit hard and there were some maintenance issues ( the staff took care of them) fairly quickly. Units are close to each other and there is no AC so had to have the windows open. Some neighbors were noisy returning from the evening away, having conversations below bedroom window until 11 pm.For the price we didn't expect to have to dispose of our own garbage and recycle at the end of our stay.Unit was well equipped with dishes etc, close to amenities.

Everything was excellent from our initial booking, communication, check in and above all, Mermaid Cottage itself! The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking essentials, including coffee and spices. Comfy beds and a cozy atmosphere for relaxing, truly made our stay very enjoyable! We would book Mermaid Cottage again in a heartbeat! It was a Christmas to remember!
