About the host
Hosted by Fiona Lipscombe (English) Martin McCann (French)
Thirty years ago Martin's parents sold an antique Irish dining room table, and to their amazement, the proceeds financed the buying of a maison de village in the south of France! Ever since, Maison McCann has hosted countless friends, guests and family.
We took over the running of the house as a guest house 10 years ago. Our philosophy is that, if we go the extra mile to make you, our guests, welcome, your pleasure will enhance the overall good vibe which the house has exuded over the decades.
We divide our time between France, England and wherever our travels take us.
Martin is a property manager in London so has a wealth of practical skills! Fiona is an interior decorator turned artist - hence the presence of artwork, by her and other artists, which grace the walls of Maison McCann.
We hope you will benefit from enjoying the welcoming, tranquil atmosphere of our village house . . . and if you want a little more action, the cafes and markets of Uzes and St. Quentin-la-Poterie are a mere 4 km away.
