This place is newly remodeled and very comfortable. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and air conditioning. We were visiting family nearby so we did not go to Oakland Beach but it is a short walk away. The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs and the stairs are steep, as they are in most older New England homes. It's something to consider for those with mobility concerns or small children, although there is a baby gate available. The neighborhood felt safe and family oriented, even walking to the beach in the evening after dinner was fine. With the proximity to our relative's place and safe neighborhood, we would definitely stay here again.

LOCATION It’s so close to the beach and Iggy's!! The property is clean, the kitchen has all the things you need, including nice new appliances, and there's plenty of soft towels (i NEED the same at my house). The beds & bedding are comfy! It's a small place, but just right for a smaller group. Also, the checkout is super easy. Just leave the place decent. No laundry or a stack of steps/rules. If I could recommend one little change, it would be to switch out the uncomfortable outdoor rubber gripping covering the stairs. It's so rough on the feet I basically had to keep shoes on. I know its for safety but maybe there's a better solution? I still recommend this house for your small group!
