The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of Montana’s awe-inspiring wilderness, this tranquil retreat is located in the scenic community of Big Sky—a coveted destination where the rugged beauty of the mountains meets modern adventure and relaxation. Surrounded by dramatic peaks, lush forests, and expansive skies, the neighborhood offers a peaceful, alpine setting while placing guests within close reach of the region’s most treasured attractions.

Just six miles from the world-renowned Big Sky Resort, visitors will find world-class skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and thrilling ziplining, mountain biking, and scenic lift rides in the summer. Whether you're hitting the slopes or exploring hiking trails like the Beehive Basin Trail, outdoor enthusiasts are spoiled for choice.

Guests are also just minutes from the pristine waters of the Gallatin River, an iconic fly-fishing spot made famous by A River Runs Through It. Ideal for rafting, kayaking, and fishing, the river is a haven for those looking to connect with nature. For the ultimate bucket-list excursion, Yellowstone National Park is just under an hour's drive—offering easy access to geysers, wildlife, and natural wonders.

Dining and local culture are close at hand in the Big Sky Town Center, a charming hub offering everything from gourmet restaurants and craft breweries to boutique shops and art galleries. Guests can enjoy local favorites like Lotus Pad for Asian fusion or The Riverhouse for authentic Montana BBQ, all just a short drive away.

The neighborhood itself is quiet and family-friendly, offering majestic mountain views, starlit skies, and a true sense of escape. It’s a perfect setting for couples, families, or groups looking to unwind in comfort while being at the gateway of Montana’s great outdoors.

Getting Around:
Staying in this peaceful mountain neighborhood offers not only serene surroundings but also convenient access to Big Sky’s top attractions and essential services. While Big Sky is known for its expansive, nature-rich setting, getting around is easy and scenic, whether by car or local transportation.

A personal vehicle is the most flexible way to explore the area. The property includes a residential garage with space for two vehicles, and free on-site parking is available. Permits are required to be displayed, so guests should follow all local signage and instructions provided at the home. From here, it’s just a 10-minute drive to Big Sky Resort for skiing, dining, and mountain adventures. The Gallatin River is also nearby for fishing or rafting, and Yellowstone National Park is only about a 50-minute drive, perfect for day trips.

The Skyline Bus offers free and reliable public transportation throughout Big Sky, connecting neighborhoods such as Meadow Village, Town Center, and Mountain Village. Bus stops are located within a short drive of the property, providing guests with a convenient way to reach key destinations without the hassle of parking.

Uber and Lyft operate in the area, though availability can be limited during off-peak hours or in more remote locations. For airport transfers or scheduled trips, services like Big Sky Shuttle and Karst Stage are recommended and offer reliable, pre-booked options. Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is just over an hour away, making arrival and departure easy for travelers.

During warmer months, the area is pedestrian- and bike-friendly. Paved paths and low-traffic roads make walking and cycling enjoyable ways to explore local trails, the Town Center, and the riverfront. Whether visiting Big Sky Resort, exploring nature, or heading out to Yellowstone, transportation from this location is convenient and accessible.
