Memorial Day stay

Property was in a nice neighborhood with good neighbors. The home was in a good location and as described. My family had an excellent time and enjoyed our stay at this home very much. There are issues with whomever the owner has cleaning this property. There was trash left in the bathroom trash container, a drawer in the master bath was full of hair, dinner plates and pans were put away in cabinets dirty, and we found an xbox controller under one of the beds from a previous renter. Owner does respond to messags and would definitely rent this property again.

Nice Home

The property is nice. It looks a little worn on the outside but the inside is in very good condition. We rent from VRBO a lot and have in many places throughout the US. I will say that the kitchen in my opinion was bare bones as far as those little helpful items so many owners provide. No foil, no kitchen hand towels, bare minimum toilet paper and trash bags for example. The ice maker didn’t work. The mattresses were VERY uncomfortable, the sheets etc were very cheap, flat pillows, no lamps, only maybe 4 hangers for all 3 closets etc and as I get they have to watch this due to this being a rental, sometimes it is the little things that make it comfortable or not. Kitchen cabinets are a bit worse for wear on paint. The blinds in the bedrooms are not quite big enough and old so you get a lot of light streaming in. Dining chairs are stained with holes. Would suggest a light switch at the bottom of the stairs for safety. Lots of potential to be very very nice with a little extra TLC. Good quiet neighborhood. Great location. I asked a question before arrival and it was answered immediately. Good clear instructions sent before arrival. AC worked great. Good water pressure. We ran into the cleaners upon arrival and they were very courteous. Overall a nice stay. Would I stay again? Maybe. If they did a few tweaks, yes, but for this price point I might choose to stay somewhere else.

It was a great location. A nice size space inside. Great parking space. Overall clean. But there was not any spare sheets or pillows. It basically comes with just the bare minimum. Don't intend on finding all the essentials that some other rentals will provide. Our experience is certainly memorable. And not having some house hold products did not ruin the experience over all. But for others who come, I suggest bringing extra pillows sheets and blankets. My family of 6 would stay again.

Overall it was a nice place and close to the beach with a nice view. We would go back without hesitation. The only thing I would say is they need a few more towels and rags for guests and just a few basic cleaning things out for just basic spills and things. “Kids” lol. Be nice for all the porch lighting to work around the sitting area so you can sit outside and enjoy it at night. But other than just little stuff it was fantastic.

House was easy to find. Code to get in worked perfect. Bare minimum of kitchen items, exactly for 9 people. Only 9 towels total for a 4 day stay. FYI: Icemaker doesnt work on purpose was what I was told when asked about it. Plugs on front deck do not work, deck itself is questionable around sides and back of house. The house was clean and tidy. Beautiful view of the beach. Little things do make a difference. Idk if would stay again for the price, but the view kinda makes up for it.

Nice View!

This house was special in that it had a great view of the water even though it's on the second row. We enjoyed out time on the porch and the short walk to the beach. There are quite a few beds for this being a three bedroom. Our group of 5 slept had plenty of room with even 1 extra twin bed not being used. The kitchen was nice and clean along with modern appliances. It was great to be able to wash our clothes before heading home. Another bonus was that there was a place of entry to drive our car on the beach, so we hauled the heavy stuff down in the car. (Make sure you get a permit!) The host and the maintenance gentleman communicated well via text and helped clear up a few issues while we were there, nothing major though. A few extra towels and maybe even a few beach towels would have been great! All in all, it was a very good stay!

Weekend Stay

Great location and great view! The house is updated and very clean. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The sofas and chairs were very comfortable. You will need to bring your own bath soap and shampoo/conditioner. We attended a wedding nearby and could have used an iron and ironing board, but understandably most guests wouldn't need one. Overall a nice and comfortable stay.

Mosquitoes

We were to check in at 3pm and arrived at 345 only to have to wait for the cleaning staff to finish cleaning. The coffee pot did not work and there was limited toilet paper. The home was clean (we were witness to that) but there was litter in the side yard and streets. Very unappealing. The door was very difficult to lock and tried calling and couldn’t get in touch with anyone so someone had to stay there most of the time. But the mosquitoes were horrendous! There was a citronella candle but no lighter. We don’t smoke. It was a lovely home on the bright side.
