Summer Grand Haven Getaway

Comfortable for 5 adults. Plenty of space for in kitchen and common room for meals and games. Enjoyed the cozy sunroom in front of the house. Also enjoyed the firepit in the evening for s'mores!

Nice place not too far from the downtown area. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom had lots of towels. WiFi was also very good. Owner was very responsive when we had an issue and they resolved it quickly.

Grand Haven get-away at the Mermaid House

Great location...short bike ride or walk to downtown. The "Mermaid House" is roomy and comfortable for our family of 4! The kichen is well supplied with utensils and cooking gear. We even used the grill and patio table for the first time - very convenient!

Smells a little musty

My Only complaint would be that the house smells musty. I would recommend room air fresheners or candles.

Thank you for your feedback, we have never received a complaint of a musty smell before. We very recently had the roof replaced and have to wait until the off season to repair the area where the damaged ceiling was removed and temporarily covered

Aqua Mermaid stay 2019

Loved it. All went well except oven and outside grill was not cleaned. Door handle in bedroom kept dropping off. Kitchen sink faucet spewed because of a leak. We disregarded those and had a good time. Thank you Blakeneys. We may be back! Marilyn Lang

We offered to go over and clean the bottom of the oven and she didn't want us to. After her check out we cleaned what appeared to be a spill out of the bottom. We replaced the grill with a new Weber, as it was beyond cleaning. The door handle is an old glass handle on a closet and was fine before their arrival and has been fixed. We were unable to find a leak in the faucet. We do appreciate being made aware of any issues and are close by to handle things right away.

Girls trip

We loved each having our own rooms. Well decorated, but table needs a little work...it wobbles. I had no clue if I was suppose to put the lock box back on the door knob or leave it inside. I left it on the table because none of us knew how to put it back together. Over all it was a pleasant stay.

This was our first VRBO stay, and Lisa was very responsive to my questions prior to arrival. This is a great location...a short walk or bike ride into town. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Cute, colorful decor in every room. I even checked in on my work with the available WiFi! Great place for a family vacation!!

Summer Get Away 2020.

House was great. Nice and clean. I would maybe only recommend maybe dusting the inside of the cupboards and making sure the silverware is clean. The house is in a great location to town we walked everywhere. The beach is only a short drive. I would definitely recommend this house.
