Cute little cottage conveniently located near the main street. Also near a park for our kiddo and 30 minutes to Bar harbor/acadia national park.Owner was very accommodating with early check in and late check out. Would definitely stay again!
Country life in a small-town setting. The homey cottage was a short walk from downtown. Each evening a family of deer appeared in the view from the kitchen window. The inside was well-stocked, clean and comfortable. We want to stay in this quiet neighborhood longer during our next venture north. Karen was 5-star conscientious, responsive and personable.
This is a great little home. It was the cleanest and best stocked rental house we’ve ever had. It was perfect for us. We loved the cozy living area and the access to Prime streaming. The shower was pretty small, but we managed. The location was close enough to Acadia National Park, but out of the chaos. The neighborhood was private, quiet and had a rural feel while being 2 miles from the main roads. We saw deer outside every morning and a fox crossing the field across the street. I highly recommend this home. We hated to leave.

About the host
Hosted by Karen Cleary
I am a NY girl living part time in Ga and part time in Maine. My husband and I are both recently retired. We plan on doing a lot of travel within the US as well as overseas. We love going to Yankee Games. I love to swim, hike and enjoy the outdoors.
Why they chose this property
We both a small cottage in Maine to be able to spend more time with family. But the winters are too cold for us so we spend time between Maine and GA
What makes this property unique
Our cottage is quintessential New England. We are within a short distance to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Belfast and many other beautiful seaside attractions. You can walk to downtown Ellsworth, enjoy many local shops, pubs and restaurants. Knowlton Park is a 2 minute walk, great place for the kids and features a splash pad. House is across the street from Leonard Lake and beautiful views.
