About this property
Wooden Retreat 1 mi to Bear Mtn/3mi to Snow Summit
The Ridgecrest Retreat is a place where friends and family gather to relax, unplug, and enjoy nature. Nestled in the mountains of Big Bear you'll be surrounded by nature. Here are a few adventures that our guests love:
- Bear Mtn. Ski Area- 1.5 Miles
- Snow Summit Ski Area- 2.5 Miles
- Big Bear Village- 4 Miles
Enjoy an escape with a touch of mountain hospitality.
The Ridgecrest Retreat is suitable for up to six adults and boasts a rustic decor that's carefully crafted to maximize comfort. The house has two unique, entertaining spaces: the living room and another on the deck. Guests love the ability to utilize each space to relax and unwind.
Is Ridgecrest Retreat a good place for children?
We've had several families stay with us, and they've found it perfect for children. There's an entertaining space in the living room, and the kids love hanging out in the loft. You'll also find the washer and dryer handy in case of accidents or if the kids want to rock their favorite outfit every day.
Can we cook at Ridgecrest Retreat?
Yes! You'll love the flexibility of being able to go out or stay in to cook. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, plates, glassware, utensils. If you're unsure about what we might have, ask us. The stove and oven give you the ability to help you whip up a dinner for six or a beautiful brunch. You'll have no problem feeding the hungry bears.
We provide a coffeemaker, toaster, and microwave.
Is the wood stove functional?
It certainly is! It'll keep you warm on the coldest of nights. Grab some firewood from a local gas station or grocery store (you can find it just about anywhere), and enjoy an evening in front of the fire.
Should I bring linens or towels?
Nobody wants to travel with their sheets and pillowcases. Our linens will rival any hotel, and our cleaning crew will take care of everything when you leave. We provide linens for all the beds, and we wash every piece of bedding before your visit to ENSURE cleanliness. We'll also make sure there's plenty of towels for everyone.
What's the Wifi situation?
Staying connected in Big Bear is optional but we do provide Wifi for our guests. You'll be bulk deleting those work emails and posting your adventures without a hitch.
If you're interested in booking but haven't quite made up your mind, contact us for more information.
Please note: For the safety of all guests, the outside of the cabin is monitored by video.
Guests will have access to the entire house, patio, deck, and parking spaces.
We give our guests space to enjoy their mountain getaway but are always available for questions and suggestions.
