This family home sits at the top of the Almanor West development and affords a million dollar view of the lake from a huge outdoor deck and the ceiling -to-floor glassed in Great Room. Each of its five bedrooms features a comfortable queen bed, perfect for a good night's sleep accommodating ten people. With amenities like a completely outfitted gourmet kitchen including china, glass wear, quality pots and pans, an ice maker, as well as an outdoor barbecue,making dinner at home is a pleasure. With WI-FI, Netflix, four televisions, heating, a gas fireplace, and washer/dryer machines, you'll have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The spacious 3 1/2 bathrooms offer both showers and bathtubs, along with hair dryers and towels for your convenience. This is a lovely turnkey vacation rental. All you have to do is bring your food and enjoy. We hope you'll appreciate and respect our mountain getaway during your stay.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
When stripping the bed please just strip the bed and pillow sheets not the comforter or blanket. Thank you!
Please gather used towels from bathrooms/kitchen and put next to washing machine. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Service animals are not allowed on any beds or furniture. Any messes (even sap) left by them will automatically include an additional cleaning fee.
Guest please take your shoes off before entering home due to pine sap spreading through wood floors and carpet.
If smoking/vaping is detected inside the home an additional cleaning fee will be added.

My family is from the northern Sacramento valley. It’s a quick 2 hr drive to get to our cabin. We enjoy being on the lake in the summer and fall going fishing and or water sports. I also enjoy driving up into the mountains exploring new roads and or hiking up to the nearby mountain lakes. The Pacific Crest Trial is 10 minutes from the cabin. The cabin is a nice place to get away and relax with your family or friends making some good memories together.

Why they chose this property

Having easy access to get away in the mountains for a day trip exploring and or hiking. I really enjoy spending time on the lake doing water sports or going after trophy trout. Almanor West has a private boat dock for its members and a public golf course. It also features tennis and pickle ball courts. Additionally, Almanor West offers a rec area and beach to its residents for families to take their kids down and play by the lake. There is also a grill at the golf course club house. Plumas Pines resort is a short 7 minute drive from the house to enjoy some good food and drinks lake side. And Chester is 10 minutes away to buy your groceries and enjoy some Resturants while you’re in town. Lassen National Park is a quick 45 minute drive from the cabin.
