Nestled in three strong hickories and one large oak tree on a private lot, this one of a kind stay is just a short walk down a trail to Lake Barkley and a 5 minute drive from Cadiz, KY. Whether you are looking for a quiet stay with modern conveniences or an adventure exploring all that Land between the Lakes has to offer, the Hickory will surely be a stay to remember.
The Hickory treehouse offers privacy in nature while also providing a luxury stay. Two bedrooms are available uniquely designed for your stay. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and roku tv. There is a full bathroom with a tile shower. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, air fryer toaster oven and coffee maker for guest use. WiFi is available for streaming. Enjoy the outdoor space as well with a walk around deck, balcony, nature trail and private fire pit.

We surprised our 12 and 13 year old girls with a night in a treehouse during a long road trip. They were thrilled and are already asking if we can come back to stay again for a long weekend. The house had a great interior to make the stay even better. The owner was great too. I highly recommend!

Loved the privacy and woodsy surroundings for this treehouse. It was delightful to have a fire in the fire pit. The only drawback was my ice cream melted because there is no freezer, albeit a cute little old-time refrigerator.

A unique experience. Just what we wanted! Being in our 70s we were not comfortable with accessing the loft but neither did we need to. Seth was excellent with communication. Very private and quiet setting. Quality build, beautifully decorated. The woodland theme is evident throughout from color choices, wall paper and more. Enjoyed very much.

It was a nice treehouse secluded in the woods me and my girlfriend went there for her birthday this past weekend and it was really enjoyable nice area and the antique shops are nice in the city.

This was an awesome place to stay! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Modern luxury amidst the trees! The tabletop book is very helpful with local suggestions!!! Manager responded immediately to questions. Our family will definitely stay here again if in the area. Thanks.

This was the absolutely best rental i have stayed at. The owners did an amazing job including every little amenities. Beautiful spot in nature and the cool factor is a 10 out of 10!! Staying in a treehouse brings back memories of being a kid again. Very professional and easy rental process. We will definitely be back!!

Mini fridge needs defrost bad. Needs new box springs for the bed. Felt like sleeping on melt. Would have rather slept on the hard ground. Banister up to the second bedroom was very sticky. The price is not worth staying there. Tree branches need to be trimmed where you parked at. Never seen such a small tv. It was smaller than a computer screen. Needs to put in there description that there are no lights to get to the tree house in the dark. There’s 3 other houses on that street and there are a lot of holes. I would have rented a jeep if I would have known how bad the road was.

Everything was great just wish we knew before hand at time of booking about the skinny small ladder we had to climb up to our bedroom which was not mentioned or shown in any of the pictures of the place. But maybe we should have expected that...after all we were staying in a tree house...lol. Great Glamping experience!

Exactly like it is advertised. I was impressed on the cleanliness and the decor was wonderful. The only thing I would have liked was to have some pull down blinds for the front windows at night for some privacy. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, peaceful but would like to recommend a spiral stairway. Probably not for 80 year old unless you can use only bed in main floor and needs a different bed in main bedroom bed is beautiful but mattress does not stay on frame. need emergency phone # posted.
