Your vacation get away awaits at this lovely, private, 2 bedroom home nestled right in view of Norris Lake and Cedar Grove Marina ... Summer is in the air! We have an awesome Hawk family nesting in the back yard to watch! There is a beautiful lake view with large covered deck overlooking a lovely private cove! Our property offers the safety of a community but the privacy of a secluded getaway. No neighbors on top of you! There is a lovely TVA trail just past our drive you can walk down to fish. The spacious master suite offers a Jacuzzi tub , walk in shower, 46 inch TV, rocking chair and bench for just kicking back. The kitchen with breakfast bar, dining and living space flows right out through french doors to the large back deck overlooking the lake. The open concept promotes togetherness! Walk out the back and enjoy your own private camp fire. Second Bedroom offers queen size bed with full mirrors on his & hers closets next to the full second bath. There are two single memory foam mattresses which can be pulled out for kids or additional guests. New washer and dryer for your convenience & use. Access this home & back your car/truck/ boat right into the carport on a nice flat drive. (room for 2 boats w/ trailers.) We do not have a dock but Cedar Grove Marina is only two miles from the house and you can easily dock there for convenience. By popular demand WiFi has been installed!! Smoking urns are provided on the back deck but there is no smoking permitted inside. We thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding.
Please respect the no pet policy for our guests who may have allergies. We are fur baby lovers but we simply can’t allow them in our home.
Our goal is to offer you all the comfort and conveniences of home on beautiful Lake Norris at an affordable price. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Nearby amenities include: Cedar Grove Marina (two miles) , Beach Island Marina & Bubba's Brew's Bar & Grill (less than 5 miles away)! Free Launch is within 2 miles. Cedar Grove Market has gas on land is 3-4 miles down Rt. 33 and includes a small deli and makes a nice made to order breakfast or lunch too!. Woodlake Golf & Country club is 15 miles away if you want to shoot a round of golf as well. We found a great Vineyard in Maynardville only about 15-20 minutes from the house. Go mountain biking, hiking, or hunting in Chuck Swan state forest which is also about 15 miles away. LMU is about 20 minutes, and the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park is only a half hour away! Explore! New Tazewell offers shopping and antique shops to browse. Tazewell Speedway has racing from May through October! Gatlinburg is less than 75 miles away and Knoxville is less than 40 miles if you are looking for more adventure! We are literally 11 minutes from town.

We had stayed at this property a few years ago with friends and enjoyed it very much. It was a good choice for our son’s college graduation from Lincoln Memorial U. We hosted a lunch after the graduation ceremony for about 15 adults and kids. The screened in porch and dining area worked out well. The beds were comfortable and all of the appliances down to the toaster were good quality and worked well. Great stay

Lovely cabin on Norris Lake

The cabin was very clean and well appointed with all of the essentials. Communication with the owner was very good. Loved the outdoor porch and the lake view. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the area as a jumping off point to explore areas around Norris Lake.

We have been avid Norris Lake rats for many moons! Both of us enjoy family, friends, the great outdoors, and recreational boating and skiing. Doug is a barefooter and skilled wake border. Robin tries to keep up! We have close family who are avid fishermen too we know will be enjoying the great water here to land big lunkers! We are both hard working folks trying to fulfill our dream of having a lake house (and hopeful retirement home at some point in the not so near future!). Doug specializes in construction project management and Robin is a marketing liaison for a clinical research center. We each have one son, Ben and Cody, who are also lake rats and dear to our hearts. We are excited to have this place and to be able to share it with other lake lovers looking for a great place to stay during their adventures. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

THE VIEW! THE LOCATION! We fell in love with this property as soon as we saw it! Loved the big back deck, privacy, and lake view. The place had been nicely updated inside and out. From the level two car drive with an awesome carport to back a boat trailer in, to the one level home layout, it was perfect for us, and YOU! Cape Norris is a lovely community development and one of the few that allows vacation rentals. There are some permanent residents which give the neighborhood a homey feel but our property is very private, you can barely see the house from the road, which we liked. It is so close to the marinas and only a few miles if you need to run to a store or gas station to grab something. It is also an easy drive off I-75, you don't even have to tackle Jellico Mountain to access it, and from north bound it is four lane highway until the last ten miles. It just ticked all our boxes!

What makes this property unique

It is just so beautiful, we can't say enough about the view and location. The relaxing back deck with double ceiling fans to keep you cool is everyone's favorite spot . The layout of our home is wonderful. The kitchen/dining/living room area is so open with lots of windows and seating. The master suite is just perfect to relax after a long day on the water, spacious with a 46 inch TV, a comfy glider rocker, and amazing en suite bath that offers jacuzzi tub and shower. There is room to relax! The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the hall also which gives a bit more privacy for couples.
