Perfect spot for a relaxing visit to Crater Lake

Lovely home with a ton of outdoor space for the kids to play. Loved the river running through the property, even if no fish were cooperating during our visit. This place is perfectly outfitted to be home base for your visit to an amazing National Park!

We all slept really well in comfortable beds. Enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast on the porch and found the river house serene and peaceful.

Peaceful River House

What a beautiful and peaceful place. The perfect base for exploring Crater Lake Park. The house had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back deck, watching the river flow by and enjoying a glass of wine. I would recommend The Rivet House ti anyone looking to stay in this part of Oregon.

Great Location and Plenty of Space

This home offered plenty of space to relax inside and out, a well-appointed kitchen, and all the “extras” needed to make it feel like home. The multi-device outlets in each room are nice touch. And the location is perfect to get to Crater Lake. It felt like staying in my Grandparents house - very homey.

Good Birding

The property is much bigger than the description indicates. It is well landscaped with several picnic tables down by the river. The porch is huge with good birding and outdoor dining. Can’t beat the location for a convenient entry point into Crater Lake NP.

Nice background

Didn’t realize the 2nd toilet was an outhouse . Would have like to have the bathroom in the house.

Truly magical experience

This location is amazing with the large yard and flowing river that wraps around the property. The layout of the house works well and would fit a good size family. We only needed one bedroom so it felt very spacious. It was so pleasant to sit on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee watching the sunlight shine on water flowing down the river. Melted away any stress I had. The fire pit was great as well.My only regret was that we booked this as a 2-night stopover on our trip from Seattle to Lake Tahoe. After staying here, I wish we had skipped Tahoe and just booked the full week at the River House.

We live in California but spent most summers in Fort Klamath raising cattle.

Why they chose this property

Our Grandparents owned this house when we were going up. We have so many fond memories of spending summers here

What makes this property unique

Located right on the Wood River. With 2 1/2 acres of land. Still holds the feel of a ranching home.
