About this property
Briggs Lake Waterfront Cabin and Boathouse Steps from the Water
Relax and enjoy what the Briggs Lake Chain of Lakes community has to offer! Great fishing year-round (walleye, crappie, bluegill, bass, northern), swimming and water sports. A great park and ice cream parlor just minutes away. Everything “up north” has but with less drive time from the twin cities (approx 1hr). We have 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards available in the boathouse (please bring your own lifejackets). Each of the lakes has a public boat launch if bringing your own boat and we have a dock you can tie up to.
The cabin is newly renovated to accommodate up to 6 guests overnight (1 king bed , 1 queen bed, extra air mattress and sofa) with plenty of seating inside and out for meals and hanging out. Board games, cribbage and cards are there in case you want to hang out indoors.
The kitchen is fully stocked with the essentials for eating in and has plenty of storage for pantry items if booking a longer stay. A concrete patio just outside the cabin has an area for dining and grilling.
The boathouse features a rec room for hanging out with great views of the water. We have a ping pong table and bags (aka cornhole) for your entertainment. Slide the patio door open so those relaxing on the deck can hear the action. There’s also a fire pit down by the water for evening bonfires (weather permitting).

About the host
Hosted by Sara Gullickson

Hi I’m Sara—full time mom and property host. My husband and I renovated this waterfront property just minutes from our home. We know the area well and love the lake culture around here! Let me know if you’d like any recommendations!
Why they chose this property
The lake culture is strong around here! There’s great fishing right off the dock or you can explore the 3 lakes with one of our kayaks, paddleboards or rowboat. It’s very peaceful sitting outside by the water.
What makes this property unique
Our favorite part is the boathouse with the recreation room and deck right next to the water. The vibe here is so fun with the surrounding houses and people boating by the house.
