Dark Sky Retreat- 2 cabins, pet friendly, mountain views
Welcome to Dark Sky Retreat – Where Big Adventures and Bigger Skies Await!
Calling all adventurers, stargazers, road trippers, and wide-open space lovers — Dark Sky Retreat is your ultimate basecamp! Set on over 5 sprawling acres in Clark, Wyoming, this unique getaway features two stylish cabins- offering room for the whole crew to roam, relax, and reconnect with nature. Dog friendly for your 4-legged companions!
By day, soak in jaw-dropping views of the Absaroka and Beartooth Mountains. By night, the sky puts on a show — with zero light pollution, you'll have front-row seats to a galaxy of stars and shimmering bands of the Milky Way. Telescope included!
Bring your gear — there's plenty of room to explore! Cruise down to the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River for fishing, rafting, or kayaking. Or take a scenic drive just 33 miles to Cody, home of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, Cody Nite Rodeo and vibrant western history. Head the other direction and you'll hit Red Lodge, Montana (37 miles away)- a hotspot for great dining, boutique shopping, and more outdoor adventure. If road-tripping is your love language, Dark Sky Retreat sits right on the legendary Yellowstone Loop, connecting you to the Northeast Entrance via the jaw-dropping Beartooth Highway, and the East Entrance through Cody and the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway — one of the most beautiful drives in America.
When it's time to chill, you'll have two mountain-modern cabins with western charm to call home:
The Big Bear Cabin features a full kitchen, one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, a cozy queen loft (with over 5 feet of headroom!), and a bathroom with an oversized soaking tub/shower combo, A/C for those warm summer days.
The Little Bear Cabin includes a double bed on the main level, a queen loft, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a tub/shower combo — perfect for a smaller group or a private retreat.
Both cabins come fully loaded with heat, smart TVs, Wi-Fi, and fans or space heaters to keep you comfy in any season. Between the cabins, a Conex unit holds a washer/dryer. Out front, enjoy a communal hangout area with a fire pit and gas grill — ideal for starlit storytelling or winding down after a day of exploring.
With room to sleep up to 10 guests, Dark Sky Retreat is perfect for families, friend groups, or adventurers looking to unplug without missing modern comforts. Dog beds in each cabin will make sure your dogs have a comfy place to sleep too!
Whether you're casting a fly, hitting the scenic byways, or simply soaking up the stars, Dark Sky Retreat is your launchpad for high-altitude fun and unforgettable Western memories.
