On Beach - 3rd/Ocean - Direct Ocean View and Access - Pool

This is one of the few ocean facing apartments in this art deco building in SoFi. It's been completely renovated to reflect the beautiful light throughout the day, that starts with the sunrise. Furnishings are light and fresh; bedding and towels are high quality and comfortable.

The beach is just out the back door, across the pool area, through a private walkway through the dunes. The condo is equipped with a Beach Club Card which allows you to receive two FREE beach chairs and one umbrella for free at Esteban's Place Beach Service (this is a $40.00 value per day anywhere else). The apartment includes beach towels. There is no service at Esteban's so either pack a cooler with your favorite drinks or hop over to The Savoy Beach Bar, just one block north for cocktails on the beach.

The building just received some fresh paint, new artwork and some other repairs and renovations. It's well maintained and monitored. However, please keep in mind; it's a humble, low key art deco building of vacation rentals, not ultra luxury accomodations like the surrounding buildings and the area.

More on the area, it doesn't get any better. Some notable hangouts are Nikki Beach Club, Carbone, Catch, Kissaki, Forte Dei Marmi, all within 3 blocks of walking distance. Boardwalk is right in the back of the building, parks and public spaces surround the whole area.

For more casual options, just walk north on the boardwalk where you'll find a vibrant restaurant, bar and shopping scene.

No parking garage in the building. A car is neither needed nor recommended but plenty of garages available in the area. Spot Hero app gets you the best options and rates. Uber is affordable and widely available.

This location was the perfect spot for us; close to anything that we wanted to do. Food, activities, drug stores, or peace and quite! Everything is within walking distance. the only inconvenience that we had was the back gate code never worked for us, so we had to walk around to the front of the building to get inside the building. Because of the short amount of time that we where there, it didn't bother us.Jason was great host! He provided us with lists of area "things to do" before our trip, made it possible for us to check in early, and was quick to respond with answers to our questions! The chair service that was provided was awesome; had a front row view of the ocean for our stay! I would recommend staying here for your family time in South Beach.

Perfect location, had a great time!

My husband and I enjoyed our time in Miami Beach. This property was perfect for us. We had a great view of the ocean and could walk to local restaurants and shopping. The property included chairs and umbrella service on the beach. The beach was beautiful and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location in South Beach!

Look no further! This is the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood South of 5th which is a couple of blocks away from Art Deco and South Point Pier. We were able to walk everywhere which we loved. No need to rent a car. We just used Uber from airport and were in walking distance to all the fabulous restaurants, and shops. The view from the condo is amazing! You can see the pool and beach from bedroom and living area. Condo was clean, and well stocked with everything you needed. Jason was the perfect host. He made us feel at home by reaching out immediately upon our arrival with great recommendations for local restaurants. The happy hour suggestions really saved us a lot of money. Food and service was excellent. The beach is beautiful, clean, and chairs with umbrella were included with rental. Water was so warm, and fun to play in. We also appreciate how accommodating Jason was with the timing of our flights. He really wanted us to enjoy our stay there. There are also opportunities for sunset cruises, and parasailing if you’re looking for some adventure at the pier. The only regret was we couldn’t stay longer. Will definitely return soon!

Nice get away

First thing I will say is that Jason the caretaker of the property is amazing. Jason went over the top to ensure we were as comfortable and well taken care of. If we needed anything he was only a phone call away. I think the apartment/condo was nice the location is great if you want to be away from the main busy area of Miami. The main area of Miami is very close a few minutes away. I will say the building is older so if you don’t mind the older building structures then it will be perfect for you. I think even though it is a older building they can still do some remodeling or upgrades to the entire interior/exterior also the second floor hallway had a really bad smell, the pool didn’t seem to get any attention as the water level was very low and water felt dirty. The inside of the apartment/condo in my opinion needs some upgrades also for example one of the most important things the beds, the master and the 2 additional beds were very uncomfortable. But with a little bit of simple upgrades this location would be fantastic. I would consider staying again if they fixed what I mentioned. Thanks again to Jason

The condo was very nice and cozy with a wonderful view! The modern renovations were tasteful and very welcoming. The place was fully supplied. There were a couple of things that we forgot for our trip and the property owner pretty much had everything at our disposal. Words can't describe how much of a convenience our trek to the beach was! It's perfect for a couple or maybe a family of three. We had a little trouble checking into the place but we contacted the owner and she responded quickly with the information we needed. It was our first time being in Miami and overall it was an awesome experience and this condo helped accomodate for that!

Nice location and property condition. Be mindful that air-con units are very loud, every night there was a group of neighbours sitting around swimming pool until late night, so you cannot keep windows open if you want to avoid the noise. Beds are not comfortable to sleep, and I would suggest need replacement of mattress and pillows. On the plus side - sea view from windows is amazing, access to the beach and beach card is definitely a plus (although fairly priced in), helpful beach toys, towels, etc. Unit is equipped enough to do cooking, but kitchen feels small and cramped, so we didn't really use it much.

Cozy Apt On Beach

The building is all rental apartments. This is one of only 6 that are on the end with 2 windows that look out toward the ocean. It is definitely an old building and the hallways smell. This inside of this particular apt was recently renovated and is well stocked with most of your needs. The cleaning crews do well, but you can tell they rush because of all the buildup of dirt in the corners of the bathroom. The kitchen is small, but ample to cook a small meal for 2. We ended up having to leave 2 nights early due to a personal issue. The host would not refund any part of that, but did say if we came back, they could try to work with us. We understood as they really had no way to rent it those nights. At least a partial refund would have meant a lot, but again, they're there to make money. My review rating has nothing to do with these 2 nights as there were no term violations.

Let me start by saying what was great about this rental. It was close to beach! The layout was thoughtful and functional which maximized the small space. There were lots of coffee amenities provided and a large cutting board that converted sink to counter space for food prep (and was the only surface for this). The unit was nicely decorated and clean. What we didn’t like… I probably should’ve picked up from previous reviews that mentioned “musty” and the disclaimer in the unit description that there is a silent smoke detector in unit, but I did not so I will be blunt. The skunky smell of marijuana was STRONG. It wafted into the unit from the hallway and neighboring units. The hallways reeked of it. If our trip hadn’t been so short, we certainly would’ve relocated. The wall air conditioning units were LOUD and kept us from getting good sleep - I wouldn’t classify us as light sleepers, but not heavy either. The key fob reader at the pool entrance from the beach AND at the side door stairwell was broken. This meant that we had to walk all the way around the building from the beach to enter from the front door. The Internet and cable did not work during our stay. We messaged the property manager when we were leaving to make them aware for the next renter; given our short stay, we did not feel the need to have it addressed while we were there. However, I never received a response from the property manager so I question if it would’ve been fixed had we reported it earlier.

A perfect spot right on the beach south of 5th.

Jason the property caretaker was great! Very hospitable, communicative, and helpful in every way. Accommodation was bright and beachy, well-appointed, super clean and comfortable.Great location On beach walk, and walkable to everything. Next to the beach park and citibikes is all you need to cruise around SOBE. PS: If you have a car, park on 7th St. and Collins city parking garage. Everything else is too expensive.

Perfect getaway weekend

We had a great time here, communication and directions were easy, beach access is amazing. I didn't realize until I get there that most of the popular restaurants are within a short walk, you don't need a car really. The beach chairs and umbrellas made everything so easy, we didn't have to schlep all that and it's free to building residents. We didn't use the pool but it looked quiet and nice. The apartment itself is pretty much exactly what it looks like online. We didn't cook and the kitchen is very small but it was more than enough for a morning coffee. The view is beautiful and everything is very clean. Thank you so much, we're obviously coming back!

Awful South Beach Stay

The elevator was behind a door that original. The unit was nothing like the pictures. Bed looked like someone slept it in. Dirt in kitchen drawer. Unit was dirty. The air conditioner in the bedroom was horrible loud and unit was rusted. I stayed in the unit for 1 1/2 hours and left.

Great property with direct beach access. Communication with owner/mgr was great. The description is perfect. This end unit offers amazing view of Miami Beach. This visit met all our expectations and more. A big highlight was the ability to walk everywhere… including to get food, enjoy the scenic views, stroll the beach and give thanks for all we have. Like a beach cottage in a building

The apartment was exaxtly as described. We have stayed in this building many times in other apartments and this by far was the best. The view is great and you can watch the sunrise perfectly. The only drawback is the airconditioning. It needs to be upgraded. A little stuffy and warm but otherwise great.

Just go with it

If you are strictly looking for placement, this is your place! Views of the ocean and very quickly accessible. For us, we made it work and were fine. Easy walk to the night life of ocean drive. Needs some deep cleaning and painting, doable though. It is old and the overall complex smells, not the actual comdo. Unfortunately there are not drawers to put your items, a few hangers, but basically living out of a suitcase.

Miami Girls trip

This property was absolute perfection! Our view from the room was gorgeous, and we were so close to the pool and the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the place was absolutely spotless. One of my favorite vacations to date, and I have traveled a lot!

The experience itself wasn’t terrible, but in terms of cleanliness it could have been way better. The place was picked up and neat but definitely not clean. The shower was grimmey and the utensil draw was sticky and messy. The room was a bit musty when we walked in. Definitely smelled dog on the bedding in the living room, and the bedding on the bed was also not clean. The place is really cute nearby a lot of different activities and the amenities were great like the beach chairs. I would say if the place was more attended to and cleaner it would have made a huge difference . The people in the building were nice and communication with the host was easy and quickly responsive.
