This was my second rental of this house. It is everything my wife and I need in a rental. It is close to Odell and Coconut Cove recreation centers. Therefore it is close to many activities. The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils that we needed for cooking and eating meals in the house. We would rent this house again when we go to The Villages.
Excellent house - clean, neat, plenty of room for us, very well stocked kitchen for cooking for two orfour people. We walked to the Odell Rec Center, which was very convenient. Thenext time we want to rent a house in The Billages, we will search for this house.
Nice home. Lots of space. Nice screened porch and patio. Quiet neighborhood. Cart was great. Major concern was a dirty floor and less than clean hall bathroom. Host responded quickly to one issue.
This was, I think, our fourth time renting this house. It is in an excellent location, a 7-minute walk to the O’Dell Rec Center, near to most of the activities in which we participated. Check-in and check-out were very easy. We took advantage of the early check-in and that worked well and gave us an extra 4-5 hours in the house - very convenient to arrive, check-in, unpack, and have a few hours in the afternoon before dinnertime. We had two complaints, which were never resolved nor even recognized. The toilet tank in the toilet toom just off the master bedroom has a slow leak into the toilet. No water drips onto the floor, but every couple hours, after water has leaked out of the tank, the water comes on and refills the tank. It is most bothersome during the night when it wakes my wife, a light sleeper. We used the washing machine and that worked well. Then we used the dryer. However the dryer did not shut off. We could only stop the dryer by opening the dryer door and leaving it open. That was not much of a problem, but the dryer light was on continuously. Even though I sent a note to the person / company which rented the house tomus twice, I received no reply in the time we were in the house. Also the sink stopper on the side with the garbage disposal is so worn that the water leaks out of that sink at a moderately fast rate. The stopper in the bathtub did not seem to fit the drain and was useless as a tub water stopper. We reported neither of these two problems.
This was our second rental of 491 Ambrosia. We really like this house. It is clean, has everything we need, and is close to the recreation centers we visit. There are two issues, not problems, that I will mention. The hair dryer in the bathroom connected to the master bedroom was not used because the on-off switch is plstic and part of that plastic switch is broken off. We could see what looked like electric wiring and did not want to turn the switch on. About once every three hours we could hear water filling the toilet tank. This is an issue I have dealt with at home. The flapper that is raised by the flush lever does not seal quite correctly and water slowly leaks out of the tank into the toilet. Once enough water leaks out, the inlet valve opens and allows the tank to refill. As long as the leak is very slow, this is an issue, not a problem, but it is wasting some water. Because you may not be aware of the issue, I wanted to bring it to your attention. Thankyou for renting such a wonderful home to us.
