Great place

We loved being able to whale watch from the Lanai and hear the waves through open windows. Good central location between various parts of the island. Nice to have washer and dryer too.

Perfect place - we’ll be back!

We spent Christmas here and had a wonderful time. Great central location for getting out and seeing Maui plus it’s at the end of a road that ends at a park. Sandy beach and good snorkeling right out the door. This is truely a great deal for a great place!

Wonderful time in Maui! Condo was great! Could not have asked for a better location!

The atmosphere was wonderful at this location. The beach was never crowded and we always found a lounge chair at the pool or on the lawn. Very central location to everything we had on our itinerary. This was also a very quiet place in the evening and night. I especially liked the open windows and doors with the breeze.

Beautiful view and convenient location

My family and I had a great time and we’re extremely happy with the property and the location. We were immediately blown away by how accurate the pictures were but pictures don’t do it justice. The view of the ocean out the slider was awesome and the balcony was perfect for morning coffee. Would gladly stay there again if given the opportunity.

Beautiful property!

My family loved the secluded property and enjoyed our first stay in Maui. The only negative thing I can say is that we thought, because of the description online, that we would have beach access from our property. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Short Stay But Great

Great property. The unit has everything you need and gives off a very homey and relaxing feel. Location is perfect, it is about half way to everything in either direction. Will definitely be back. The virus cut our stay short or would have stayed longer. Next year here we come🌺

We really enjoyed our stay here. We couldn't have asked for more. Convenient location, yet on a quite dead-end road with much less tourism. The condo had everything we needed. Our 5-year-old daughter enjoyed the pool and beach. The grounds were well maintained. Just couldn't have asked for more. Thanks!!

Great location, great whale action

Nice condo, trade winds were great for not having to use the A/C much. We would suggest some upgrades with the beach chairs and boogie boards. Stools on the lanai would have been much better for whale watching and four would have been better than 3. Condo was well stocked, we appreciated the spices etc.

Enes and Bill are very caring and top notch renters. They have been very good with communications and information.The unit is awesome. The stay will not disappoint any family. The beach is pristine all your own, and more. Long walks..turtles.....shells........then you get to bbq and watch the sunset. No crowds. LOVELY

Spacious Unit With Great View

We stayed in unit 209 for eight nights and found the condo very accommodating. The unit is very roomy and has a nice dining table that can comfortably seat six. It has a good size washer and dryer, dishwasher, and lots of beach toys to use at the beach including snorkels, boogie boards, and beach chairs. There was a great view and a deck with a table and four chairs. The only issue we had was that the light in the master bathroom needed replacing. We would rent again.

Exactly as Listed - lovely condo, great stay!

This is a very well equipped unit, with everything you need for a terrific stay, right down to the spices in the kitchen. The two bedrooms and two baths were perfect for two couples, but would be great for a family too. The beach is right outside your door. If you like beach walking, you can do so for miles on the longest undeveloped beach in Maui. Maaleaea is close to everything. It's 20 minutes to the airport 20 minutes to Lahaina. The development is quiet and laid back. If you want bustling nightlife, not so much. But If you want a relaxing vacation in paradise in a well equipped affordable two bedoom place on the beach, rent this unit!

Wall A/C Unit

This condo only has a wall A/C Unit in the living room area. The wall unit is on a timer. The breeze going through the place is awesome and for the most part keeps you cool at night but during the day it can get a little warm. Otherwise for the price I thought this was a beautiful location and the scenery was breath taking.

Nice Property, Fair Location

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. We had four adults and stayed for five days. The property is spacious, clean and well kept. The views from the lanai were outstanding. The condo has one 'window type' air conditioner and it is not enough to keep the living area and bedrooms cool during hot humid days (Temps were in the high 80s and low 90s with dew points around 75). The AC is also on a timer and can only be run for four hours before resetting. The condo is located in Maalaea which has a couple restaurants, a gas station and a little general store. It is about 18 miles from Lahaina (30 to 45 minute drive) and about 12 miles from Kihei (about a 15 to 20 minute drive). We liked the condo but would prefer to be closer to Lahaina.

Great Location & Price

Overall I was satisfied with our stay but not overly impressed. The pros are the location and price. The cons are the lack of air conditioning and it needs updating (the living room furniture was pretty uncomfortable). We were there in July and it was hot day & night. There is a small window air conditioner in the living room and then we tried to set up fans throughout the unit to circulate the air. My kids were hot sleeping in the second bed room. Also, the air conditioner is on a timer so we would wake up hot in the middle of the night and have to turn it back on.

GREAT Location! Location! Location! Must stay...

This was a last minute replacement site for us and what a save!!! Great beach access and ability to go anywhere and have a wonderful time. The owners were always available and responsive. The condo was outfitted so that you wanted for nothing...all rooms had what it takes to make you feel at home and welcomed by the Aloha ohana spirit. We have been to many locales and this is the one you want to come back to! Even the road to Hana trip was made enjoyable because we were coming back here. Haleakala was great, Hookip Beach with turtle resting area was great, and even Lahaina was enjoyable for shopping...but just hanging around this place was the best. Open windows on both ends of the condo and the breeze just blows through keeping cool and airy...there's an A/C but rarely used... When we return, this is the place we'll be looking to visit again. If you're looking for a great place and the best bang for the buck...this is it. Amenities, friendly atmosphere, and location, location, location!

Beautiful views and more

The property is beautiful! The views of the ocean can’t get any better. There were 3 of us staying and they was more than enough room in the extremely clean and well equipped unit. All the towels, 2 smaller coolers, umbrellas, 1 chair, several pairs of water shoes.. the list goes on for beach equipment you could need. There wasn’t anything we were in need of. The elevator is right next to the entrance of the condo which was convenient and you didn’t hear any noise. You can walk to the beach park just a few minutes away which was beautiful. There wasn’t direct beach access, but we climbed down the sandbags anyways (shh..). The pool and bbq area were maintenance every morning and never over crowded. The location is a great central location to access all of the island. 20-40 min depending on the time of day to Lahaina and Kaanapali and no more than 20 minutes to Kihei. If you need any last minute groceries etc, there isn’t a spot for that nearby. But in the aquarium shopping center there are places to have breakfast, lunch, dinner and an all day happy hour. It’s about a 15 minute walk and a few min drive. Overall the unit and and location were great for our beautiful Maui vacation! We will recommend to friends and family!

Beautiful grounds dumpy dirty unit with inadequate cooling for all rooms

We arrived to find the unit had not been cleaned between tenants- while I too have had this occur in my VRBO unit and is was quickly rectified the unit needs a deep spring clean. The textured walls have imbedded dirt the ceilings outside the ceiling fans are filthy and all the fans both ceiling and floor have insane amount of dirt on them- the floor fans are also very very very loud. The in wall A/C does cool the living area well, does somewhat cool the MBR but no cooling occurs in the kitchen or second bedroom. I opened a glass breakfront and the glass fell out- I caught it before it broke and called the manager- she stated she knew about it and should probably fix it . This just seems irresponsible to me. I left warnings on the unit suggesting not opening the doors at all. The pool and grounds are just stunning- very much like the picture- and there are large recently replaced gas grills that are popular. The kitchen is well equipped. But my overwhelming memory now 6 weeks out is how dirty

Location, Grounds, Pool, Paradise!

Our family of four (mom, dad, girl 13, boy 11) spent 15 wonderful nights at this condo, and everything was just fantastic. So easy to get there from the airport, down a quiet dead-end street, with very little traffic. Lots of parking, and beautifully kept grounds greeted our arrival. A quick elevator ride and in the door, and we all stood at the lanai doors, taking in the postcard view. Stunning!! This condo has all the amenities desired for a short or long stay. It has a fully equipped kitchen, fridge with ice maker (a must!), wifi, and a huge TV. Twin beds for the kids, and their own bathroom. There is a supply of boogie boards, sand mats, beach toys, umbrellas, and tons of towels. The pool and barbecue area were always pristine, and a few steps farther and you are at the ocean. Ma'alaea Bay is a very calm, shallow beach, with hardly any undertow, and smaller waves, great for young children. As many reviewers have pointed out, the location of this condo is perfect, as it's a short drive to Lahaina, Kihei, Wailuku, or Kahului. We would pack up the cooler and head off to explore new beaches or take a road trip one day, then stay back at the condo and have the place to ourselves the next. The nearby marina hosts a variety of shops and restaurants, from fast food to a full meal deal (we recommend Buzz's Wharf, Beach Bums', and Porto Pizza), as well as the Pacific Whale Foundation and others for whale watching tours, snorkelling, and sunset cruises. The Maui Ocean Centre is also located here, and is well worth a tour. We took in the mini golf and bumper boats one lazy afternoon; the kids loved it!! We never needed any help from the condo manager, but he was always around the building through the week. Oscar the groundskeeper was always on the job, too, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. We had a storm one night with heavy rain and strong winds, which knocked down a lot of palm leaves, and by noon the next day, you would never have known it. Enes was a pleasure to deal with, and could always be reached via email or on the phone. I would not hesitate to stay here again if (who am I kidding - WHEN) we come back to Maui. Mahalo, eh!!
