Wonderful home. Bev and Ernie thought of everything you might need on a vacation. Including lots of games, books and toys. The home is lovely, clean and spacious. With a view of beautiful lake Michigan and the sunset. A short ride to all sorts of fun places. Minutes from three beaches and the General Store. We look forward to going back.
If you want to be away from the crowd, but still have access to the necessities - this is it! This beautiful, clean cabin provides views of Lake Michigan from the decks across the treetops that are stunning. Harbor Springs, Petoskey, and the ferries to Mackinac Island are all easy drives. The owners, Ernie and Bev, were outstanding , responsive, and very informative. Follow their suggestions on dining options - they won't steer you wrong. This VRBO is highly recommended.

Tunnel of Trees Getaway
We recently stayed at the Bouck's cottage situated along The Tunnel of Trees and on the bluff of Lake Michigan. The cottage, recently updated, is clean, warm and welcoming. It has a wood burning fire place, gas grill, wooden deck and other amenities. There is access to a private beach where we saw amazing sunsets.
The location is ideal ... Harbor Springs and Petoskey to the south; Cross Village, Wilderness State Park and Mackinac Island to the north all a short drive. It is also within walking distance to The Good Hart General Store.
This gorgeous home is tucked away in the woods with a view of Lake Michigan. It’s very close to ‘downtown’ Good Hart, beaches, Cross Village & Harbor Springs.
The home reflects its owners good taste. Everything you need is here & well thought out, again, a reflection of Bev & Ernie. Thoughtfulness would be the key word to describe both the owners & their home.
I very much intend to return, the best compliment !

Great Choice!
The photos don't do it justice. The home is lovely and perfect for 2 or 4. The setting is quiet and beautiful, looking out over L. Michigan. The location is great for seeing the region. The shops at Good Hart are well worth a visit, and Legs Inn at Cross Village is close by - big and busy with a Polish menu. Harbor Springs has is pretty, with some restaurants and shops, and Petosky has even more of both. Charlevoix is scenic and also has nice shops and good eateries. This home is also well located for day trips to Mackinac Island or to Sleeping Bear Dunes N.P.
The home is nicely furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware and serving ware. There are plenty of paper goods (towels, napkins, coffee filters) and cleaning supplies, but note that other kitchen consumables (e.g. plastic wrap or foil, condiments, spices, coffee, cooking oil) that you may have discovered in other kitchens are not provided, so plan accordingly. Internet would be a good addition. There is a very nice outdoor grill, a fire pit, and a nice deck. Overall we are very glad we chose this spot and we highly recommend it.
This Good Hart cabin was a dream come true---it is sited in a wonderful area just off of the Tunnel of Trees, in a private secluded area with a view of Lake Michigan. The cabin has a modern kitchen, open plan sitting area, and multiple areas to sit outside, including a beautiful koi fish pond and fire pit.
The two bedrooms are comfortable, with plenty of dresser and closet space, and each has an adjacent bathroom Two more pull-out sofas allow for more guests if needed. There is a balcony on the 2nd floor that offers even better lake views as well as views through the tall trees up to the stars.
The hosts keep the cabin spotlessly clean with plenty of kitchen items, sheets, towels, blankets, supplies, books and games.
The Good Hart store is only minutes away for a quick trip for any groceries, souvenirs and baked goods, and the cabin is well-situated for longer drives to Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Cross Village.
Three beaches are nearby for day trips to the lake, our favorite was the Middle Village beach that our host recommended. It has wonderful sandy-bottom lakefront, with plenty of space between beachgoers.
We loved our stay and plan to return with our extended family for another visit.
Perfect location , great cabin - all you need for family vacation
We had the best time , beach , walks , bonfire .... close to everything : Pond Hill Farm , Harbor Springs ....Mackinaw Island ... this is my fave place on earth ...
What a slice of heaven. The home is lovely and has “rustic” feel but has been updated in every way. The bathrooms and kitchen must be brand new and the kitchen table can be converted to a very table You will not be disappointed here.

Even better than I imagined!
Beautiful home on lovely, heavily treed property. Very well maintained and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our stay here very much and can easily give it the five stars it deserves!

The details make all the difference!
The view is spectacular and the area was fabulous to explore. We couldn’t have asked more for an amazing family vacation. It’s far off the road, so we had a lot of privacy and the house had everything we needed. The cottage was exceptionally clean and nice. We appreciated all the care and time it took for the hosts to prepare the home and make it enjoyable and welcoming for us. We highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful Week Up North
We had a great time in Good Hart. Short drives to Mackinaw and Petoskey. The house was very nice and very comfortable and had no problem accommodating the six of us. Kitchen was well equipped and was put to good use for almost all of our meals. Lots of games for the kids and books for the readers in the group. Couple of good options for beach access to Lake Michigan (all within a 5-8 minute drive). Would bring a bike to ride along the Tunnel of Trees next time we are up.

Great Stay on the Tunnel of Trees Scenic Highway
We stayed on the Tunnel of Trees for a week in July 2015. The cabin was ideal for our family, it's clean, comfortable and well decorated. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils and even had use of a grill. It has a great sun deck with a view the lake complete with lounge chairs and a picnic table.
The cabin's location is great for day tripping to nearby resort areas and it's only a short walk to the Good Hart General Store where you can get essentials, sandwiches, ice cream cones, and their famous Homemade Pies.
Ernie is very helpful and quick to answer questions, A+.
