What a lovely visit! Dave was excellent -- very helpful, friendly, and easy to reach. The house was clean and charming -- perfect for my husband and I and our daughter's family. The proximity to the beach and local attractions was excellent, and the neighborhood quietly friendly. In all, a great trip -- we will definitely rent this home again

This spot is really special: The kitchen was a dream to cook in together with our big group, the back room and screened porch were perfect for hanging out and having a piano was a huge bonus -- we loved it! Dave was so responsive and check-in was a breeze. It was a special treat to hear the mourning doves and geese, bunnies in the yard, hummingbirds on the deck and a neighborhood fox. And of course the beach on Assateague is what keeps us coming back. Highly recommend.

Quiet neighborhood and plenty of room indoors and out for our multi-generation visit on the island. Equipment for outdoor activities as well.Parking for multiple cars.Great Stay!

Lovely Home in Quiet Neighborhood

This home is spacious with kitchen and multiple dining areas, large living spaces, and comfortable bedrooms. It is well stocked. It’s convenient to everything on Chincoteague Island. We’d definitely come back!

My wife's friends came by for a shared meal, and they were so impressed by the house. Has a family, warm and cozy feel to it. So many amenities that I don't know where to start. I should start with the host, David; one of the best hosts we ever had. Helpful, informative, funny, and always responsive. Thank You, David. The house has a fire pit for smores or nights around the bon fire. Outside shower, hammock for relaxing, screen porch for eating, relaxing, or playing games protected from mosquitos. Enough TVs with very comfortable couch. House was super clean and neatly organized. Great kitchen with everything needed for a homemade meal. The house has so many bicycles in the shed that the money saved on bike rentals can be used for nice meals at local restaurants. Great, peaceful location near everything in the island. I can not find anything to improve or change in this house. My wife wants to come back for an extended period of time. Great finding in the heart of Chincoteague with everything to make our stay more enjoyable.

It was me and my spouse and another couple that stayed here. Overall the house was very nice and clean. We spent most of our down time at the house on the screened in back porch which was large and had plenty of furniture. The outdoor shower was great, Grill worked perfect. Checking in and out was seamless. The beds were comfortable. The online description was wrong for one of the queen beds. It was in fact a full size instead of a queen. I notified Dave and he immediately apologized and offered us a later check out time and a discounted price for an extra night stay. I feel that bed size descriptions are very important and therefore the 4 star rating instead of 5. Not that the kitchen was bad, but Dave also informed us that there are a ton of kitchen upgrades to be done for next season. I saw the new cabinets in the garage.

Excellent! Great house, quiet neighborhood, close to the park

This house is nicer than the pictures! Mom really liked the hardware floors and the quality furniture; Dad enjoyed the den with comfy seating and the large hi-def TV. Both enjoyed the screened back porch, where we could easily hear the various birds and could tell where the wind was by which chimes we could hear. The bedrooms were comfortable and nice, and the master bedroom was also spacious and attractive, We chose not to spend time cooking but we noticed that there was plenty of kitchenware, all in good condition, and currently the kitchen includes an air fryer and a coffee grinder. We appreciated that there were yard games and fire pits, but in the evening we are basically bookworms too comfy to go outside. We use Veterans Park for kayaking and some fishing so it was nice to be able to just walk there. Nice to have both an outdoor shower and a garden hose. On our arrival (to the house), everything was clean and fresh, nice after our drive. Owner responded quickly to a question I had beforehand, and we had no issues on startup or during the week. I got the feeling that the owner definitely wants you to have a good time!We hope to return to town someday and would definitely want to stay here again!

The house was great and the location could not have been better for all things related to the pony swim. It’s walking distance from Memorial Park (even for us older folks), and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet. I highly recommend this house. It was a really enjoyable experience.

The house was nice and has everything we needed to accommodate a party of 7. The beach is very close and the town in lovely. for walks and late night strolls. We would come back to this house. We recommend, just not the same week we want to rent the place.
