Frio Vacation 2026 ❤️

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about this house was amazing , the view , the amenities , the location from the river , my family and I were very happy ! We had such a great time . We book a new house every year to experience different homes and I would say this home has been the best one 🥳 The driveway to the house was very steep to walk back and forth to pack and unpack but overall , definitely a 5 star stay for us ❤️

Thank you for such a wonderful review! Knowing that you stay in a different home each year makes it even more special to hear that this one was your favorite so far. We’re so glad the view, amenities, location, and overall setup made it a great fit for your family and that you were able to enjoy some quality time together. And we have to agree—the driveway definitely gives you a little extra workout! We appreciate you mentioning it and are glad it didn’t take away from an otherwise 5-star stay. We would absolutely love to have your family back and see if we can keep this one at the top of your list! ❤️

2026 Frio Flood at Oceanfront Property

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oceanfront property is beautiful, very clean with all the amenities you could ever think about in a home. The view is absolutely stunning. We were never in any danger when flood waters rose. Our only issue with the home was the steep driveway. Having older adults and a very pregnant person made it hard for us constantly having to move vehicles around to accommodate them. A staircase leading down to the bottom towards garbage cans would be nice.
Response from VrboOwner on 22 July 2026
What a wonderful description of your stay! It means so much to hear that the home's cleanliness, amenities, and breathtaking ocean views made such a great impression. There's nothing quite like waking up to that view each morning. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience with the driveway as well. Every property has its unique characteristics, and we understand that the steep driveway can be less convenient for guests with mobility concerns or larger family groups. Your idea of adding a staircase to the lower level near the garbage area is valuable feedback, and we'll be happy to pass it along to the homeowner for future consideration. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for providing such thoughtful comments. Reviews like yours not only help us improve but also give future guests a better idea of what to expect. We hope your next visit is just around the corner!

Be prepared to rent sheets and towels and make your own beds, bring paper towels and toilet paper. these are not listed on the VRBO site, only in the confirmation email do you see this , in the fine print. We showed up and had a very friendly smooth check in but still had no sheets and towels even after renting the week prior to our arrival. contacted the host and they brought them very promptly, but still had stains on the fresh linens. For a new build it was in great condition , just had some minor repair issues. Master shower door handle was loose along with one upstairs. Hot water issues with showers , sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. The morning we left the master shower never got hot at all. On our arrival the hot tub was the temp of the pool at 78 degrees and had to call the host which sent maintenance guy to correct, but really should have been ready for use when we got there. The place had beautiful views and was very nice and well put together with comfortable furniture and bedroom furniture. We were just very let down that with just a little more prep time these things could have been avoided. We have never had to rent or pay extra for linens and bath towels and if you skim over the email you might miss that detail and show up with nothing. I think it's just an expectation esp at this price line or really any price line of a VRBO. Needs spa controls easy for renters so renters don't mess up 4k of pool equipment. Would not rent again, knowing what I k

Gorgeous view!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oceanfront Property was a wonderful house in a gorgeous setting! One refrigerator was broken (compressor out). Having one refrigerator with 18 people was very challenging. Also, that STEEP driveway!!! I would suggest building steps along at least one side of the driveway.
