We are so glad that we were able to stay here during our visit to Concan. This is such a beautiful house with incredible views!! We truly enjoyed our stay here. We never had to contact anyone about anything because our stay went very smoothly with absolutely no problems. We enjoyed most of our evenings at the pool, which also has such beautiful views. We also enjoyed making s'more's by the fire pit. Such an incredible stay!! We definitely are planning our trip here again for next year!

28th Birthday - 7 traveling. Though the property was BEAUTIFUL and the views were amazing!!!! It was rough having to bring EVERYTHING to stay. I know it states what to bring, but once we began packing we needed a UHaul. Would have been a lot easier if everyone brought their own sheets and towels - but my treat, my problem. Overall, AGAIn, the house was amazing!!!

Hey y'all! We're Brannon & Wendi Hightower, owner-operators of Frio River Resorts.

We met in college in 1995 and have been together ever since. Frio River Resorts was started by Brannon's parents nearly 20 years ago and it has been continuously Hightower-family-owned and operated the entire time, with us buying the business in 2018.

We're local and we live in Concan full-time and enjoy serving as stewards of our community with participation in local boards and volunteer organizations. You've likely seen us on River Road as you leave on Sunday supporting the Concan Volunteer Fire Department in our “Fill The Boot” fundraising campaigns, or out to eat at Neal's or House Pasture.
