Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed for comfort, providing a cozy escape for all guests. A short neighborhood stroll leads to the water for kayak access and bank fishing. Ample parking on property ensures easy accommodation for both vehicles and boats. Unwind in the privacy of our spacious surroundings, complete with a fire pit and hot tub for ultimate relaxation. Indoors, the basement features a wide variety of games and a lively foosball setup, promising entertainment for all.
Our cabin is convenient to both State Dock Marina and Jamestown. We are just a short distance from Lake Cumberland State Park and Wolf Creek Dam for hiking and other outdoor adventures. There are many other local attractions and eateries in Jamestown and nearby Russell Springs worth exploring.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please make sure to shut and latch the hot tub cover prior to leaving. Important!
Place all dishes in the dishwasher for cleaner, start if possible.
Please make sure the thermostat is on 68 Heat for winter months, and 72 cool for summer months when exiting the property.
Please strip sheets and leave at the foot of the bed.
Make sure to log out of any streaming services you may have used on the TVs, and turn them off.

We live in Ohio, and just purchased this property in June 2025 and couldn't be more excited to host guests from VRBO at our cottage. We lived in Knoxville, TN for 15 years and enjoyed Norris Lake with our family all those years, and we are now beginning to enjoy Lake Cumberland as well. We love hosting because we enjoy sharing our space with those who are seeking to create lasting memories through their visit to the lake and our cottage.
Why they chose this property
Clifty Creek is a quite neighborhood very close to a public boat ramp and practically the same distance by car from Jamestown Marina and State Dock Marina, so our guests can choose which they prefer to visit (or they can visit both!). Lake Cumberland State Park is 10 minutes away for hiking and other activities. Jamestown Square and our favorite restaurant Reel Java is just 10 minutes away. This location is convenient to lots of activities but secluded enough for the absolute quiet you seek on a relaxing getaway at the lake. After a couple nights sitting around the firepit or the hot tub, you can feel the tension of everyday life melting away.
