Peeter was very easy to work with and we appreciated that greatly. The property is a bit off the main road on a rocky dirt road. Take it slow and follow the excellent directions and you’ll be fine. A higher clearance vehicle would be helpful, but a 4x4 is unnecessary. We came in at night and were able to find the property without difficulty. The house is newer and well-maintained with a master bed and two additional separate bedrooms. Kitchen has everything one could need. Power went out once for a short period; generator kicked right in and kept the lights on. Internet comes and goes, but when on it’s sufficient for TV and streaming. Coco is a small dog that loves to visit and enjoys dog biscuits. She was the icing on the cake for us. The nearby town of Volcan is very laid back. The people are friendly and many speak English. Finca Guardia has a wonderful horseback ride through the hills and valleys. The Janson’s offer a wonderful coffee farm tour and great shakes after. Both are well worth doing. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back.
