We loved our stay at Seaside Serenity. It is such a beautiful property and just steps from the beach. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with hardly anyone on the beach, which we appreciated. We definitely recommend this property!
Our stay at Elle’s home was one of our more memorable vacations! The home was beautiful, clean, and the perfect location to explore Shelter Island or do trips to the Hamptons or Greenport. our favorite spot was sitting on the front porch for coffee or cocktails and being able to see the water / boats go by. Thank you, Elle! We will be back for sure!
We had such a magical long weekend at Elle’s home in Shelter Island. The house is prettier and more spacious than the photos. The open plan living room, kitchen, dining area is spacious and airy and goes straight out to a lovely deck with beautiful water views. There’s plenty of room and bedrooms are all great. It’s such a lovely, quiet, peaceful home and in a really quiet area of Shelter Island. The walk to Shell Beach is awesome. And there is beach access a few minutes walk from the house. Elle was also super responsive and helpful during our stay. We would love to come back!

About the host

I have been a summer resident of Shelter Island since I was 3 years old. It is absolutely the most special place to me on earth. The people are warm and friendly and when you get on the ferry, your shoulders immediately drop and your mood softens. I hope you enjoy this peaceful place as much as I have throughout my life.
What makes this property unique
Peconic Avenue, where this property is located, is not on the main road that most people use to go back and forth to Shell Beach, so there is very little car traffic and it is very quiet. The front and back yard are big with lots of room for kids to run around. The front and back decks are on the second floor so you can see the ocean while you relax with a coffee or grill and have dinner.
