Lazy Bear Lodge is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath one level cabin in the beautiful mountains of North Ga. Located on a wooded lot with a seasonal mountain view, this cozy cabin sleeps 4 and is pet friendly for dogs under 15 lbs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and jetted tub in the master bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with bathroom across the hall. Kitchen is fully furnished and features a Keurig coffee maker, all stainless steal appliances with state of the art refrigerator, washer and dryer. Screened porch with outdoor fire place and custom rockers. Gas fireplace in the living room. 42 inch flat screen TV in living room with Blue Ray, 3D and DVD with DVD library for your entertainment. Each bedroom has a 32 inch flat screen TV. Sunk-in hot tub on deck, Out door fire pit with seating, large, spacious deck with cushioned seating for outdoor eating. 400 plus thread count sheets and plush towels.pickleball in resort.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

Our stay was wonderful here! The cabin was very spacious and clean. It was perfect for two couples. I would definitely recommend this cabin to my friends that visit Elijay.

Bear Cabin at Ellijay 2025

Great cabin! Good location for short day trips. Pet friendly for our little Toby and Tilly! TV...probably least favorite thing, but it didn’t really matter.We just missed watching our Atlanta Braves! Found a great food place...R and A Orchards. What great tasting brunswick stew...and apple pies! And experienced our first earthquake...9:04 a m. May 10th!! Hope to come back during apple season!!

Greatest place to stay

I have stayed at this cabin several times. The owner has always contacted me with all information. I love being there and this time my son and his family came with me and was able to bring their little miniature schnoodle. It was great and we all had a great time. Thank you Rona.

Beautiful!

Our family had an incredible stay at this beautiful mountain rental. The place was impeccably clean and offered a peaceful, scenic retreat from our busy lives. We felt right at home the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was watching a family of deer feed right from the deck – such a magical experience! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway.

Fantastic Weekend

Property was as advertised. One of the best VRBO experiences we've had. Property was well-equipped, hot tub was great (cover is a beast but 2 people can manage fine) and the home was comfortable. Perfect for a quiet get away. It is VERY remote which we loved. Can't wait to stay again.

My wife and I are in the process of building in Ellijay. We needed accommodations for our first steps and my wife selected this beautiful property. In addition to being amazing what impressed me most was the way the owner/manager engaged with Us. Prompts responses to questions and being very kind.

Perfect Mountain Getaway!

The photos are the real deal….maybe even don’t do it justice enough…… We found this place to be exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. Every little detail just made you feel more at home. The kitchen was well equipped complete with spices. The linens and towels were very nice. Although we didn’t need to use the fireplaces it was very impressive to have a gas fireplace inside and a real fireplace on the screened patio. We have rented many times various cabins across the country and this is certainly in the top three. They have a really nice selection of DVD’s to watch on a rainy day or in the evening when you want to unwind from a day of hiking. It was very quiet and peaceful. Loved waking up to the sounds of Carolina’s Wren’s chirping in the woods and sitting on the deck in the evening watching the lightning bugs fly around the forest. We saw several deer throughout the resort complex during our stay. The owner of the property is great to work with. Anytime we had questions before or during our stay she was reachable and responsive. The appliances are GREAT – love the refrigerator and although we didn’t think we’d need to use a Washer and Dryer it came in handy after we took a horseback ride. The location is great…only a short drive to the adorable town of Blue Ridge, Mercier Orchards, Gibbs Gardens, etc……. We found everyone in the area to be so friendly and helpful. Truly pet friendly as well! We brought our 12 year old dachshund and he was quite excited to see they even had a little dog bed and dog bowls ready for him. Excellent Vacation Rental! Hope to go back in the Fall or Winter.

The house was great! There were just a couple of issues, but a call to the owner and everything was rectified. I am glad my vehicle was all wheel drive, as the road leading up to the house was steep and gravel. I appreciated the car port and paved driveway to park my car. This cabin was just the right location for travel to Blue Ridge, Helen, Brasstown Bald, Amicalola Falls, and downtown Elijay. Grocery stores and restaurants are a 10-15 minute drive. I would definitely stay again!

Our stay was great at Lazy Bear. The home is very clean and private in a gated mountain community. The Kitchen has every thing you need and wifi works great only about 15 mins from downtown Ellijay, tubing, rafting, wineries and apple orchards. We plan ti go back.

Excellent place. Nice seclusion. Only problem was that the check in code at the security was not the correct number. Guard let us in though with correct information. Besides that, the rental was just what we needed.
