About this property
Quaint 1 Bedroom Suite, Victoria, BC
Summary:
Quaint little lower unit with all the amenities including SHARED laundry.
Separate entry and parking onsite but also close to Galloping Goose Trail and bus stops for those without a vehicle.
Centrally located, 15 minutes from the airport, downtown Victoria and Langford. Near both Highway #1 and the Patricia Bay Highway which makes getting to and from meetings or local attractions a breeze.
Low ceilings and not very bright but what it lacks in lighting it makes up for in personality!
The Space:
There is a full kitchen, one bedroom a full bathroom with bathtub and a small living room. As a bonus there is a shared washer and dryer. It’s perfect for short term or long term travel. The ceilings are under 7 feet and there is a beam that is lower between the living area and the kitchen so it’s a bit squishy for tall people.
Guest Access:
Guests have full private access to their suite and shared access to the Laundry room.
The Neighborhood:
Suburban neighbourhood close to schools, a shopping mall and across the street from a mechanic and a hair and nail studio.
Getting Around:
There is parking in the parking lot for vehicles and bicycles can be stored either in the laundry room or locked up under the stairs to the upper suite. Close to a walking and bike path that goes all the way from downtown to up island and there are bus stops half a block away so getting around is a breeze.
Other Things to Note:
There is a Tesla destination charger and an adapter available with deposit if you have any other electrical vehicle and do not have your own adapter.
The suite is not close to anything exciting so it is very quiet at night with not much to do. This sometimes comes to a surprise to people so we like to make this clear so guests are not disappointed. If you want to be close to any action at night you have to stay downtown as otherwise Victoria is quite a sleepy little city. There is a mall with a Montana's and a Cineplex nearby but restaurants close early here so make sure to check their hours.
There are children who live upstairs and they do make noise during the day while they are awake. As it is illegal to beat them into silence we just allow them to be children and live their best life! They are well behaved but like any children sometimes squabbles occur, sometimes stomping occurs and sometimes melt downs occur. There is not alot of sound proofing between the suites (we bought it this way) and while we continually add things to help we have not found the perfect solution yet so if you are sensitive to noise this is not likely the right suite for you. Note we are open to soundproofing suggestions though :)
Interaction with Guests:
We are available by messaging and if you have any issues during your stay during business hours you can go to the law office at the front desk and they can assist or contact someone who can assist.
