Entrance to the cabin is up just 3 stairs from the flat parking area. **Parking is for 2-3 vehicles only (depending on size).** No carting luggage up countless stairs! The covered front porch boasts seating to relax, as well as a landing spot for ski gear.

The main floor includes a king bedroom with smart TV, ensuite bathroom (with bidet) and an adjoining kids’ bunk room with children’s bunk beds - perfect for families. **Note, the top bunk is NOT suitable for adults!** The kids’ bunk room includes books & toys. Off the king bedroom, there is a deck with seating & views of the slopes.

The second bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed, smart TV, adjoining bathroom, and a desk & monitor for those who wish to work remotely. In fact, the cabin includes 3 desks for remote work capabilities.

Off the dining area is a 2nd deck, which has a gas grill and Adirondack chairs to enjoy views of Beech Mountain.

The bottom floor is a game room with foosball table, game table, counter arcade basketball game, and washer/dryer for your convenience. Step out onto the 3rd deck & enjoy the luxury hot tub.

Summer has lots to do! Sugar Mountain Golf Course has been voted the #2 short golf course in the country. In the summer the resort has tennis , mountain biking , scenic chair lift rides, and a weekly live music concert series. It also hosts a golf tournament, several summer craft fairs, & festivals, including food truck festivals. Each July, the Grandfather Mountain Scottish Highland Games takeover MacRae Meadows, just 10 miles away.

During the fall, Sugar is a great spot to see the fall foliage, with close proximity to the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain. Sugar Mountain also hosts Oktoberfest and other events. Snow Place Like Home is just 4 miles to the famous annual Banner Elk Wooly Worm Festival.

The drive to the cabin is paved and offers free onsite parking for 2-3 vehicles, depending on size.

In the winter, 4-wheel drive is recommended. During snow & ice events, 4-wheel drive, snow tires, or tire chains may be required. The village roads are maintained by Sugar Mountain but areas can still have packed snow and ice. Winter weather can be unpredictable, please plan accordingly.

Check-in is 4pm or later. Check-out is by 10am. Early check-ins or late check-outs may be possible; please contact us at least 24 hours prior to determine if the cleaning staff can accommodate. Prepayment of an additional fee may be required.
