Open living/dining concept with an eat in kitchen, and sliding glass doors the entire length of this room overlooking the pool is what adds to this tranquil setting. Close to shopping, restaurants and beaches, this location is a strolling, walking and jogging paradise.

Remsenburg is a hamlet located in the Town of Southampton, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. There are no stoplights and very few commercial businesses. This primary residential area of the hamlet is located along South Country Road, where this property resides. Easy access to train from Spink to Manhattan Penn Station (1h 53mns).

Great home with great amenities!

We had an incredible experience at Maria’s place. The house itself was great with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate a large group but also a central great room which was a great place for us to hang out and relax together. Outside the pool was amazing and warm, and the tennis court was such a nice addition to the house. Everything was well stocked with lots of cookware, plates, etc. Maria was great and very communicative throughout the process with lots of local recommendations too. Very easy to get to from NYC and close to lots of Hamptons or north fork activities. Perfect house for a summer getaway. We hope to come back soon!

The Perfect Place for Our Family!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Maria's lovely home. The location is unbeatable. We biked or walked around the lovely streets of Remsenberg every day. It's a short walk to the bay, where we enjoyed kayaking. It's a short drive (east toward Westhampton or west toward Eastport) to great shops and restaurants. But given the spacious and sunlit house, the pool, the tennis court, and the large and beautifully landscaped property, we had little desire to leave the property! There are enough bedrooms (5) that my two kids each had their own bedroom and my husband and I each had a dedicated bedroom office to work in, in addition to the separate bedroom we stayed in. Maria made us feel so welcome and relaxed. What a wonderful treat to stay at her home!

Wonderful find!

Maria’s house was perfect for us! She is a great host. My husband, our adult children and grandchildren enjoyed the tennis court, pool, bay nearby and the house tremendously. The location is great and we are looking forward to being there again.

Remsenberg

Remsenberg is basically a suburb of WestHampton. There are no beaches in Remsenberg, you have to go to public beaches on Dune Road.

Hello, I grew up in Switzerland. My husband is from Amsterdam. I graduated from the London School of Economics with a Masters degree. I am in the Art business. My company creates opportunities for artists. We live in Remsenburg year round and spend the summer in the North folk. I love the Hamptons.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property in July 2016. We fell in love with the garden. It feels like we live in a park. A beautiful resort , with pool and tennis. The house is bright and spacious with wooden floors with modern European light furniture. We like neutral colors so it feels peaceful. A great place to relax and also entertain.

What makes this property unique

The reason was that it is easy access the city (the closest of all the Hamptons villages). The train or Jitney are close-by. It takes under two hours to get to the city. This area is terrific because we have access to Southampton, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Montauk beaches as well as the North fork wineries. The restaurants and coffee shops in the area are very good. The beaches are exquisite and people are nice.
