Welcome to Our 2-bedroom 2-bathroom beach retreat that sleeps 6 and is located on the 1st floor of the family friendly Gulf Shores Plantation in Gulf Shores, Alabama. You'll enjoy resort style amenities from Tennis, Horseshoes, Basketball and Shuffleboard to Hot Tubs and 6 pools! Golfers are sure to enjoy Kiva Dunes Golf Resort located right next door. We have a boardwalk for easy beach access. When you arrive grab your bathing suit and hit our beautiful beach. Book your stay and make memories that will last a lifetime. Our condo is located at Gulf Shores Plantation Resort. The address is 400 Plantation Road Gulf Shores, Alabama 36542 which is about 12 miles from the main attractions in downtown Gulf Shores. Twenty-minute drive to the outlets for great shopping and the new amusement park OWA. My unit # 2122 is conveniently located on the 1st floor. Very close to the beach, outdoor pools, indoor pool, sauna, bbq grill and exercise room. There is parasailing, banana boat rides, jet ski rentals, kayaking, rafting, shopping, sightseeing, snorkeling, walking, water tubing, wind surfing, golfing hiking, shelling, skydiving, volleyball, wildlife viewing. Two Queen size beds and a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen tv’s in both bedrooms and living room. Kitchen is fully equipped, and all linens and towels are provided. Newly painted and decorated. There is a restaurant on site "Sassy Bass" that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Free WiFi is also provided. Additional Amenities include Sauna. Steam Room, Putting Green, Indoor Pool, Indoor and Outdoor Hot Tubs and a Fitness Center.

We enjoyed our stay this week. We appreciated the cleanliness of the room and relaxing decor. We also loved the private beach and lush scenery. The restaurant on the resort site is very good as well. Loved being right at the beach and pool

It was neat, clean. Felt safe and secure. Never felt like we had to worry with the kids in our party. Easy access to our condo. Relaxing location, didn't have to worry about late night party noise which was great. Would stay again.

Fantastic Getaway

The Condo was perfect!! Beautifully decorated and very clean!! There was plenty of space for me and my family. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The Condo is conveniently located to the pools and indoor pool with just a short walk to the beach. Carolyn was great to work with and the booking process was simple and easy. I definitely recommend staying at this property.

Renter Beware

Upon arrival bedspread in master was soiled. Mattress in master turned upside down. Other than that rental was clean. We loved the unit through the week although no ocean view and the drive up unloading includes having to go over the railing of the porch. Before checking out we cleaned the unit and notified owner of soiled bedspread. Driving home from a wonderful weeks vacation I received a text from owner about items missing from the unit such as mattress pads. I was accused of stealing the mattress pads that I had no idea even went with the unit as they were not there when we arrived. Owner also accused us of soiling bedspread. She said that her maid takes pictures of all such things and this was not present when she cleaned. I informed her that items were missed by the maid such as the mattress being flipped over when the maid must have made the bed?? Suggested maybe she was in a hurry. This was an extremely upsetting end to a very lovely family vacation. My husband, myself and my daughters believe that you leave places better than you find them. We did such that when we left. I am a teacher who dedicates my life to teaching integrity and the value of honestly on a daily basis. To be accused of stealing items was EXTREMELY upsetting. Renter beware of this. Wonderful unit, lying maid that the owner believes over anyone else.

Dear Rachel, If the bedspread was soiled I feel you would have let me know right away since I was in constant contact with you making sure everything was ok and warning you guys of the rough waters and to be aware of the flags. The day you were leaving is when you even mentioned the bedspread Was soiled. My cleaning service does take pictures of anything that may be out of order because everyone does pay a deposit. I purchased new bedspreads and new mattress pads in January. I never accused you of stealing but when I spoke to my cleaning service she said they were on the bed and they do not flip any of the mattresses. Im sorry you felt you had to write a bad review but I feel if someone has an issue they would let the owners know as soon as possible. Like I said I was in contact with you during your whole trip. Also you do not have to put your items over the railing you can walk around to the condo but it’s actually a nice convenience to unload over the railing for most people. I did not text you and accuse you of stealing you texted me and I told you I had new bedding on the beds and I would call the cleaning service. Of course I’m going to believe her because she cleans and takes good care of my unit and the majority of the units at the Plantation. She takes pictures of everyone’s units when there is something wrong and if there was a soiled comforter she would have removed it immediately. I didn’t appreciate being threatened that if I charged you for the cleaning of the comforter you would write a bad review so maybe other condo owners need to be aware of you. I was very nice to you and I don’t feel I deserve this at all.

Some construction going on in our building do to hurricane that had came through earlier. Overall it was a beautiful place. Loved the beach!!!! The people we met were so kind & I will treasure those memories.

Family friendly experience

perfect location for my family to enjoy the beach. 1st floor condo was perfect for us so we didn't have to carry beach accessoires upstairs every day. Will stay here again someday.

Family Vaca 2019

The Unit is perfectly located near the boardwalk and pool area. The first floor was great for having small children this trip. Carolyn was super nice and checked with us during the trip to make sure things were ok and our travels were safe- will definitely book again when staying in the area

Very clean and nice, super close to the beach. Quiet and relaxing. We loved it! Fort Morgan is such a change of pace from Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, and this condo is just right.

OLD AND SHABBY. Had to check in order to submit report.

A/c automatically increases temp. setting in hottest part of day. Very inconvenient when you are out and come back to a hot room. Was not “as advertised” concerning unloading thru the patio. I have photos. Lock box was corroded and hard to work especially in darkness with very little exterior lighting. Coffee maker was broken although replaced on the second day, but not at our request. Owner must have already known it. Only 1 “access” key. Were expected to return 2. Sliding glass door would not lock....had to put a broomstick in it. We were accused of not returning the door key and locking the unit. We left the key inside the unit, pulled the door shut (not locked) and left. Before I had time to notify owner, maintenance reported to her that they could not get in and charged her a big fee. The door was very hard to open.... had to “put a shoulder” to it. Garbage dumpster where we took out our trash was running over and open. Very nasty health hazard. Pools and restaurant that we used were nice.

Dear Roseanne, I’m sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I did not accuse you of anything. My cleaning company could not get into the condo because you did not leave the key in the lockbox and it was not left in the condo either. My cleaning service and the maintenance crew have no reason to lie to me. You said there was only one pool key I have no way of knowing that unless the next renter informs me because there should always be two. I also sent someone over there immediately to check on the air which you told me was not necessary because everything was fine but I made sure it was taken care of. I have the text where you said everything was fine So I’m sorry we could not please you.

Beautiful Condo in a Great Complex!

We had the best vacation! The condo was better than the pictures and description. Super clean and roomy. The owner was an absolute joy to work with. The complex is right on the beach and has many other options like several pools, basketball court, tennis, and an indoor pool. We love staying here and will definitely book this condo again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This condo was perfect! Our 3 year old loved the pools and we loved how close to the beach we were! The owners were great to work with even text once we arrived to make sure we made it okay and everything was good with the condo! We will absolutely rent from them again!

Comfy and Clean!!!

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room upon arrival. We have never entered a room that smelled that fresh, sheets included! The condo is well equipped and we had plenty of towels! The condo was very comfortable for our family of four and was everything the photos showed it to be. The owner was very impressive, and very attentive which we have never experiecened with a vacation rental before. We liked being able to communicate so easily with her. We also enjoyed the private beach and laid back atmosphere! It was nice not to have to see high rise condos for miles. There is a slight walk to the beach, but the newly built boardwalk made it incredibly easy to get there. Pools are very clean and well kept. The grounds are lush and look like an island get away. We really enjoyed the food at the Sassy Bass Island Grill and the breakfast was worth the quick walk over! We will be back to visit for sure!

Loved it!!!!

My husband and our two children have trouble finding time to take a vacation and with two kids it can be hard to actually relax and enjoy ourselves. Carolyn was available at any moment we needed her and was extremely easy to work with. The condo was beautiful and well taken care of. The indoor and outdoor pool was great for the kids. I purchased this condo in 2017 because I fell in love with the area. It is a very peaceful place to come and relax and not too far from the main attractions.

This property is away from all the hustle and bustle. I have always loved vacationing at Gulf Shores Plantation it's a little tucked away piece of Paradise for me and my family. It is very peaceful and quiet! I hope you will all enjoy it as much as my family and I have.
