Escape to the Lake with all the comfort of home! Begin fall touring with us!

Your vacation starts here! Little Silver Hart Cottage is for families,business or just wanting to get away. Our two-bedroom, one and a half bath two level home that can sleep up to six with a pull-out queen bed in the couch located in the downstairs family room. You can wake up to the morning sunrise overlooking the lake with a cup of coffee sitting in the screened in porch, or spend time on the sandy beach and enjoy the lake by kayaking, fishing or using the four-person paddle boat. We are on Hart Lake (also known as Little Silver Lake). It’s an all sports lake with tons of nature and gradual depth so it's great for kids. Enjoy the evening fires (wood included) making "S'more" family memories around the stoned fire pit. Manistee National Forest is just up the road for hiking, snowmobiling, or ATVs. The cottage is centrally located for those who wish to visit Cedar Point's Michigan's Adventure, Muskegon winter sports complex to enjoy the famous LUGE, or ice skate, snow shoe and cross country ski through trails.Muskegon state parks, and the farmers market located downtown with small retail shops to explore. We are also close to area restaurants, golf courses, disc golf, breweries,shopping, grocery stores, churches, theaters, and close to the Blue Lake fine art camp. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood that has all the amenities of home with fresh linens, bath/beach towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. We have high speed internet, WiFi to work away from home or to view the U tube app on rocku we provide for those who wanting just to stay in and relax. There are board games and a foosball table for rainy days, as well as yard and sand toys for the ones wanting to be spent outside. Little Silver Hart Cottage is a wonderful place to kick back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. See you soon!there is camera use on front yard facing driveway and back deck facing doorway! We shut off cameras on back deck during guest stay for privacy. The front camera remains on for security reasons only. This property is only for 6 guests or less.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put kayaks back on racks if you used them. Put outdoor toys back. Place indoor toys back on shelf properly
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Perfect place for a quiet and relaxing long weekend. Plenty of things to do at the lake house and lots of option within 1/2 hour drive. The house was set up perfectly and easy to manage with labels on cupboards and light switches. The little details like this are great. Would recommend booking a stay here.

Great Spot on the Lake

Very cute property! Host was very responsive and kind. Kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils. Really nice selection of stuff for the kids (toys, coloring, games, foosball). Deck is beautiful with a great grill area. Scenery is lovely with lots of cool turtles, fish and birds. It's more of a natural lake beach (as described!) but the kids had fun wading out and fishing off the dock. They do a nice job of keeping the sand clean. Close to Michigan Adventure

Wonderful getaway

Stayed a week and enjoyed it immensely. The home was spotless and had everything we could have needed. It was too cold for us to enjoy the lake but they had everything if we were daring enough! If we’re back this way, I would definitely stay again.

A home away from home

Very welcoming and comfortable home! Clean, cozy, everything you could need and more. Right on the lake. Wishing it would’ve been warmer to enjoy the fire pit and outdoor amenities, but we will just have to come back during the warmer months.

Our second visit to this beautiful, quiet property was everything we wanted it to be. The addition of a covered grilling area was a nice surprise. This oasis is everything that is portrayed online and then some.

Great Weekend Get Away

The house was adorable. There was nothing we needed that was not there. the girls loved kayaking the lake. The neighbors were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend this place to anyone who is lucky enough to have their dates available. We will definitely try to come back again. Wonderful & welcoming Owners!!

Cute house with a lovely view!

The house is a lovely home and has a great porch in the back! Though it rained all except the mornings of our stay, it was still a great time as the house is cozy and the screened porches make it fun to watch a storm go by. All of the natural light made it a great place to relax and get away for a weekend. Will definitely consider this place again for future get always! The owner is also very quick to respond to questions/concerns throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Super clean and has everything!

I have stayed at many places up north but this little beauty is so spotlessly clean and so well equipped that you absolutely want for nothing! I have never once had a comfortable bed at any cottage.. anywhere... I even bring a blow up mattress and pump... First time ever a comfortable mattress and delightful pillows! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into everything in that home.. great place!

The cottage was very clean and cute. We ended up renting a third kayak so we could all use one. The s’more treat was very nice along with the wood to use in the bonfire. Grill needs to be fixed, it did not operate properly. Please note there is there no dishwasher - all dishes are done by hand. We would definitely stay here again!! The Ridha’s

Great Family Rental

We loved our stay at Little Silver Hart Lake! We have a young family with three children and we didn't have to bring a single thing to keep them all entertained, the property was so well stocked with everything you can think of! Cindy had everything labeled and the cleanliness of the cottage was beyond our expectations. We traveled with and infant and the screened in porch made it so enjoyable to be outside but out of the elements while still able to enjoy what the rest of the family was doing outside. Our girls loved the beach and all the toys and games that were provided. Would highly recommend this place for any family! Thanks for the hospitality!!

Why they chose this property

Randy and I chose this cottage because we wanted a small house with a lakefront to enjoy when we retire. This property has unique benefits such as a 3-season room, a screened in porch to enjoy the views of the lake, wonderful neighbors and large deck.

What makes this property unique

Randy and I love staying here in our home! It is very peaceful here and enjoy watching and listening to the wild life that surrounds us. We also love that it has two floors to enjoy.
