Lovemore Lodges - Greenhole Cottage

Greenhole is situated on the beautiful blue, salt water lagoon of Leisure Isle. There is a richness in nature and it is the birds, butterflies and sea creatures which make Greenhole Cottage a true haven.

Sitting on the Verandah, one can enjoy the constantly changing scene of flying kites and yachts sailing past. We often ride bikes to the Leisure Island art gallery coffee shop, or walk through the water to the East Heads Cafe. The children are constantly canoeing, fishing, cycling and occasionally on board some newly made friends yachts, sailing.

Leisure Isle offers an incredible experience for all ages, the sandy beaches are ideal for little ones with their buckets and spades, the surfing teens can visit famous nearby surfing beaches or are welcome to paddle with the canoes in the garage, and the elderly can enjoy good flat walks around Leisure Isle, conversing with the local residents. A highly recommended holiday destination for the whole family.

Greenhole is a three-bedroomed cottage and sleeps 8 people. One bedroom is en-suite and the other two share a bathroom, with a separate loo.

The spacious lounge is divided by a “good old fireplace that works” and also has DSTV and a DVD player. The room has wonderful views of the lagoon and towards the famous Knysna Heads.

The relaxed dining room next to the lounge has room to seat 10 adults with easy access to the kitchen.

Greenhole has a well equipped and stocked kitchen, including a dishwasher, and laundry includes washing machine and tumble drier.

The house opens up onto a sheltered courtyard complete with built in braai area – ideal for entertaining out of the weather.

The double garage provides security for vehicles as well as housing various canoes and bicycles which guests are welcome to use.

Domestic assistance can be arranged at an additional charge on a daily basis if required.
