Blue Ridge Stay and Shoot – Cabin Rental & Firearms Training Experience
Welcome to Blue Ridge Stay and Shoot, a brand-new, modern country cabin retreat completed min June 2025. Nestled in the peaceful Blue Ridge Mountains, this unique destination offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
Our newly built cabin provides a serene getaway with all the comforts of a modern escape—while also offering the opportunity to participate in professional firearms and emergency medical training. For guests interested in enhancing their skills, we offer optional Firearms Training and Stop the Bleed medical courses, available for an additional fee on the first and third weekends of each month.
Please note: Use of the shooting range is only permitted with the purchase of a training package and under the supervision of a certified instructor. If you choose to rent only, the range will remain inactive during your stay unless a training session is booked in advance.

Easy level driveway and parking. Located just a short drive between Blue Ridge and McCaysville, you're never far from scenic hiking trails, charming local shops, and top area attractions—all within 30 minutes or less.
As a brand-new property, we're still putting on the final touches. Interior décor is being added and the lawn is still in progress—but rest assured, your stay will still be comfortable, peaceful, and memorable. To celebrate our opening, all stays currently include an automatic 20% discount. We welcome your feedback and reviews as we grow both our rental and training programs.

You receive private, personalized coaching with a student-to-instructor ratio no higher than 3 to 1 on the firing line at a time allowing for focused, tailored instruction. You'll also stay in a brand-new, modern country cabin with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, offering 5 star-quality lodging just minutes away from local attractions and restaurants.
Our privately owned range is another key element of the value we provide. Unlike public ranges, our facility allows for far more advanced and dynamic training. This includes full movement drills, defensive and competitive shooting scenarios, firearms malfunctions and how to quickly get them back into the fight.
Our range also features a variety of paper, steel, and even moving targets—all of which are rarely found in one place, let alone in such a small/private-group personalized setting. Maintaining this private range involves substantial annual expenses for insurance, maintenance, and upgrades—but it enables a level of training flexibility and quality that public ranges or those rented for a weekend by an instructor simply can't match.
The small student-to-instructor ratio, combined with our private range setup, allows each shooter to progress much more rapidly than they would in a standard class that are usually 10+ students. Our program is designed for real growth and meaningful skill development while doing so with close family or friends. Additionally, ammunition is included in the class—another significant value. Ammo is not only expensive, but the cost of bulk purchasing and shipping has risen substantially, yet we absorb those costs to provide a seamless experience for our students.
We believe the training, environment, and overall experience we offer is rare, high quality, and worth every dollar.
