The Vianden Cottage offers a serene retreat nestled in the forest above Vianden, Luxembourg. Originally built in 1965 and thoughtfully renovated in 2017 into a charming open-concept "country loft" style. This 60m² cottage combines rustic charm with modern amenities, making it suitable for year-round stays.

Location: Situated directly on the Vianden Circular Walk, the cottage provides immediate access to scenic hiking trails and is approximately a 45-minute drive from Luxembourg City.
The Vianden Cottage

Living Space: The L-shaped living room features a high-efficiency wood-burning fireplace, a 55" flat-screen TV with AppleTV and Xbox, and a dining area that seats 3–6 people. The open-concept design seamlessly connects the living area with a fully equipped kitchen.

Sleeping Arrangements: Accommodates up to four guests with a comfortable double bed in the bedroom and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. Fresh linens are provided.

Outdoor Amenities: Enjoy the covered veranda with a charcoal BBQ and forest views, as well as a side garden area featuring a fire pit overlooking the Our Valley.

Pet-Friendly: Dogs are welcome for a minimal one-time fee per stay, regardless of the number of dogs. The veranda is gated, providing a safe outdoor space for pets.

Disliked: Location
Property not well-maintained with ants and dirt, poorly cleaned/ill-fitting linens, dishwasher and shower with water issues, and internet not working. Difficult communication with host. Would not stay again. We’ve used VRBO for over 10 years with over 20 wonderful stays and 5 star guest reviews. This situation was a bummer.

This is an abusive and entirely inaccurate review. The property is maintained constantly. Cleaning for each guest is professionally undertaken with photos taken before every guest check in. There are no water issues - the property has a new water system in place since early spring. The internet is and always has worked perfectly with unlimited data. Communication with me the owner is never an issue as I'm available on my mobile 24/7, via the vrbo platform and by WhatsApp. I'm reporting your conduct accordingly.
