Cosy 1 bedroom apartment in a historic canal house in a quiet and very popular residential area on the Amsterdam city island 'Prinseneiland', The island is like an old fashioned village within the center of Amsterdam, and is inhabited by a nice mixture of artists, expats and traditional Amsterdam people, close to the canals and main city’s attractions.

The apartment has a very nice feel with an 'authentic' style, an open, fully equipped kitchen in the living-room, a private bathroom with shower, wireless internet, a TV with international channels and of course a coffee maker.
Everything in this apartment is in great condition!

The neighbourhood is ideal located at about a 10 minutes walking distance from the busy city center with lots of restaurants and shops, The Ann Frank House, the Central Railway Station, the Red Light District, Dam Square and Westerpark and 3 nice markets on Mondays (arts and crafts-), Wednesdays (organic-) and Saturdays (farmers-).
In short, the perfect place to stay when in Amsterdam!

Bookings are only for 2 guests max, a baby is counted as 1 person according to the local rules!
Use of the sofa as an sepparate bed costs 10 euro once for the extra bedlinen.

I was looking for a spot within walking to central Amsterdam and the Jordaan area. I also wanted to be close to public transportation. She advertised both and was spot on. A short 2 block walk to a tram/bus spot connected me to all of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. My 40 day stay was exceptionally easy to navigate from that location. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. She responded to 2 minor issues quickly. The only problem I had is I wanted to stay longer.

We had a lovely stay at Emmy's apartment. Emmy was very responsive and welcoming, including leading up to the stay and after we checkout out when I realized I had left a previous valuable behind. The apartment had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is located on a quiet street, walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops. Absolutely perfect location. Just outside the main area to be quiet and quaint but close enough to feel like we are in the action. The apartment had all the essentials and Emmy was super helpful with tips and advice about the area. Great place!

We stayed in the first floor apartment. In a great location - quiet area but walking distance to all the happenings, the train station, grocery store, restaurants, etc. It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine was an added bonus. The host met us upon arrival and was very helpful with directions, recommendations for things to do/see, etc.
