Location

Perfect location. Beautiful view. Slow/laggy wifi. Fridge/freezer smelled like fish; baking soda fixed that. Excellent communication from company. A bigger skillet would have been great to have in the kitchen. We would stay here again if in the area.

Quick trip

Good location. Good view of beach. Layout of the condo is not great as the bedroom is not private. There mediacom channel listings on the tables, but they didn't have mediacom. Had Roku TV so I couldn't figure out how to get cbs, tnt, tbs to watch NCAA games. 2 days later got it to work. Roku TV stinks!

We got exactly what we paid for. It was a great deal very close to the beach with a great pool. It was clean with an amazing view. My favorite part was sitting on the balcony and watching flocks of pelicans fly right by me. *Some things to know:-The bed is incredibly loud and uncomfortable. We really did not get great sleep the whole week we were there. -The kitchen is tight and not comfortable to cook in. -There’s plenty of bath towels but only one roll of TP so bring extra-Don’t forget condiments/oil or butter/salt/ they don’t stock and cooking essentialsOverall, we had a wonderful stay and would consider staying in the same room again. The value is worth the bed situation.

Mother/Daughter Vacay!

My daughter and I spent a week in Gulf Shores for our Spring Break. We have stay at Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet many times and really like the location. We generally stay in a 3rd floor condo, but it was unavailable during this visit. This 7th floor condo had an amazing view of the ocean and met our needs well. The beach is easily accessible, and we love the pool and hot tub. The office staff is always very friendly and welcoming. We also like this location because it is away from the more commercial areas of Orange Beach and the heart of Gulf Shores. I would highly recommend this condo to others. We had no issues during our visit.

The Toilet needed to be repaired. There we Roaches in the Bathroom and Kitchen. The Bed needs to be replaced

Our room at The surf and racquet club

We always enjoy staying at golf Shores surf and racquet club. There are two things that were unsatisfactory. The dishwasher was not cleaned out when we got there. And the bed was wet and unmade when we got into our room. We made our bed and laid there for a few minutes and then realized it was wet. So we had to dry the sheets and start again. I think something had spilled on it and it had been cleaned. Anyway, that would have been good for us to know before we reached our room or handeled better. Besides that we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Clean room, but that's about it...

Very difficult to get bags from the car, to the luggage cart, up the ramp, through 2 doors to the elevator. Building is across the street from the beach, which is a little harder to get to the beach than I thought. Property is far enough away from town to avoid most of the partying teenagers, which I liked. But was about 15-20 mins from most places we like to go, which are in Orange Beach, wich I didn't care for. All things considered I thought this was overpriced and we won't stay here again.

Beth: I am happy to read that the room was clean and comfortable. We are located about 3.5 miles west of downtown Gulf Shores where there are plenty of restaurants, entertainment complexes and shops. The beach across the street is actually a very easy 2 lane road to cross with a boardwalk and gazebo there to make the walk that much easier. Come back again when your destination is Gulf Shores/ West Beach.

Stayed two weeks earlier about 10 doors down that place was great!!! This place smelt like smoke called they brought in an air freshener machine just cover up the smell. My wife and I are very sensitive to the smell of smoke felt sick all week. High demand week we could not find anything anywhere otherwise we would have went. Found a two inch fishing hook in the carpet, because my wife stepped on thank God it was flat so it did not penetrate her skin so the house keeping did not vacuum before we got there otherwise they would have found it. Bathroom door was all dirty I got a rag and water wiped right off, towel rack coming off in the bathroom, tub drained slow and toilet barley flushed. Call and complained the management did nothing for us except the air freshener. I sure hope the owner of this place see this and makes some changes! The view was awesome as I said we have stayed at a different unit in the same complex and it was great and same with the complex it self.
