This place was exactly what we were looking for. The home was modern and beautiful, but still felt warm and welcoming—a true gem in the middle of a magical forest. Waking up to those huge windows and quiet views of the trees and meadows was incredible and the highlight of my mornings. Everything in the home felt really thoughtful and comfortable, from the cozy beds to the spacious layout. We had more than enough room for everyone to relax without feeling on top of each other. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, and the bathrooms were like something out of a boutique hotel! It felt private and peaceful but still super close to town when we needed anything. You really get the best of both worlds here. We didn’t want to leave and hope to be back soon!

Beautiful, spacious home in a gorgeous setting!

Our family had such a lovely stay at this home in the woods! It was very spacious with lots of bedrooms/beds and a large living area to hang out in. We loved the space in the basement for the kids to enjoy as well. Rooms and beds were comfy and the place was spotless. The living room has huge picture windows where you can search for wildlife in the grassy area below. The views were lovely and we spent time outside relaxing on the patio. The surrounding area is very peaceful, but you are still close to town for anything you need. If you like hiking, you are minutes away from the Beaver Lakes trailhead. There are a lot of great kid friendly trails. Host was helpful with questions and very responsive. Would recommend!

Amazing forest retreat

This house was such a fun find for our family getaway! As soon as we pulled in, the kids were off exploring the giant yard and spotting “secret trails” through the trees. It felt like we had our own private forest—meadows, wildlife, and so much space to just run around and be outside.Inside, the house was super comfy and had tons of room for everyone to spread out (which, let’s be honest, is essential on a family trip). The kitchen was perfect for big pancake breakfasts, and we loved all hanging out together in the cozy living room after a day of adventures. The beds were so comfy, and those huge windows made every morning feel extra special with all the light and forest views. We were close enough to town for ice cream runs and quick grocery trips, but the property felt tucked away and peaceful. Evenings were spent roasting marshmallows by the fire and telling stories under the stars. The kids keep asking when we can go back—and so do we!

A piece of paradise

Here is one for mairead. —This place was exactly what we needed. From the moment we got there, it felt peaceful and quiet—like we were deep in the woods, but still just a short drive from town. The house is beautiful—big windows everywhere, super comfortable, and just really calming. It’s modern, but still cozy, and it felt like every space was designed for relaxing. We spent mornings drinking coffee with a view of the trees, and evenings around the firepit under the stars. The kitchen was awesome for cooking meals together, and there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out or do their own thing. It was one of those places where time slows down a bit—in the best way—no city lights, no noise, just us and the quiet of the woods. We went on walks through the meadows and private trails, saw deer right in the yard, and just soaked up how quiet it was. The nearby lakes are beautiful! The biking trails are the best I’ve ever experienced and so much fun. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. Already trying to figure out when we can come back.
